Breaking Throughwith Open HMI Solutions The worldwide market for Open HMI is experiencing tremendous growth. According to IMS Research, the market is projected to rise to $151.3 million by 2008 at a compound average annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25.4%. Among all types of HMI hardware, Touchscreen Operator and Open HMI are in the developing stage with CAGR of 7.9% and 31.7%, while other types are in maturity and decline stages with slow CAGR. What we can see is that in the next five to six years, Touchscreen Operator and Open HMI will play more and more important roles in the HMI market.

These monitors feature industrial-grade flat panel LCDs with brightness that is often more than twice that of commercial monitors, making them much easier to see.
