Hi! I'm Edgar Eagle, and I'll be your host today as you learn all about Glenview...the best place to be!
You will have 5 core classes: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies! 2 required related arts classes: Technology and PE!...the other 2 related arts classes, you get to CHOOSE!! Each class is 51 minutes with 4 minutes in between. EAFK lasts 15 minutes.
I need a volunteer to make me fly away to reveal our daily schedule for 6th grade.

Be a hard worker! Our district looks at the following criteria to determine placement in Regular grade level vs. Accelerated classes:
• PASS testing scores.• MAP testing scores.• Benchmark writing scores.• Math Proficiency test scores.• Class averages.

BYOT...Bring Your Own Technology! (optional)
• Any Internetready device to access school wifi.
• You and your parent must sign and return the use agreement, and you will get a BYOT sticker for your ID.
• At school, only use your device for educational purposes when your teacher tells you it's time!

Be sure you return your student info form at the beginning of each school year and update your contact information at the front office anytime it changes!
