This year there are 3 trails: Old Town & Ocklynge,Town Centre and Meads, plus 2 venues in Jevington, just
out of town. The numbers in grey circles correspond with the location number on the maps.It’s best to plan your route before you
begin. If you’re driving, you may find it easier to parkyour car andwalk betweenthe venues onfoot, particularly in Old Town and the Town Centre.

T his is the 9th year that the artists and makers of Eastbourne have opened their studios and workshops to the public.Over 40 artists are participating and there’s plenty to seeand buy.
This year the stalwarts are joined by a number of newand exciting artists. The Eastbourne Group of Artists havetheir annual exhibition at The Birley Centre next to Towner.
For those of you that have never visited anartist’s open house or studio before, well, you’rein for a treat. Over the years, the artists andmakers of Eastbourne have become very goodat showing their work to interested visitors. This brochure gives you an overview of the wealth and breadth of artistic talent onshow around the town.
You may be looking for special Christmas gifts and decorations or perhaps you are seeking a painting, print, photograph or drawing for your home.
Maybe you can’t resist beautiful ceramics, jewellery and textiles? You’ll find plenty this year to
take your fancy.
On a more practical note, most artists are openover both weekends from 11 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon. though it’s advisable to check carefully as someopen slightly earlier (or close later). Just a few are openfor one weekend only.
