Prerequisites

The GlobalX-application is optimized for 32-bit Windows IE 7.0 or Firefox 3.0 . Dont use Google Chrome. Please note: 64-bit version of internet browser will cause up/ download problems.

Please install Java-Plugin, minimum version 1.5

Its possible to use the application without Java-Plugin, but the

transfer-rate resp. transfer-time would encrease many times over.

Allow the execution of Java-Script in your browser

Allow signed and unsigned applets in your browser

Please deactivate PopUp-Blockers

1. Notification (Subject: "Valeo OpenDXM GlobalX: Access account created")

After Valeo finished your new account, the first email notification will be sent to you.

The 1. notification with Subject: "Valeo OpenDXM GlobalX: Access account created"

is personalized and it looks similiarly to the example below.



2. Notification (Subject: "Valeo OpenDXM GlobalX: Access information")

After Valeo finished your new account, the second email notification will be sent to you.

The 2. notification with Subject: "Valeo OpenDXM GlobalX: Access information"

is personalized and it looks similiarly to the example below.

The password is valid for 60 days. Please reset it within this time.

Downloading data (after receipt of Email-notification, Subject: "Valeo OpenDXM GlobalX: New file available: ..........")

Each time a Valeo person sends data, you will get a new email notification, with

a unique link. The link forwards automatically to the login mask.

Each time you succesfully downloaded files from the Webportal,

an email confirmation will be sent to you.

In case of up- / download error



In case of up- / download error (Clear Browser Cache)

1.) Clear Browser Cache, close and launch the Internet browser

e.g: for Windows IE 6.0

Click "Tools" from the Internet Explorer menubar

Click "Internet Options..."

Click the "General" Tab

Click the "Delete Files" button in the "Temporary Internet files" section

If you still have a problem, repeat the steps above and restart the computer.

2.) Clear Java Cache, close and launch the Internet browser.

3.) Please check all kind of local hard- and software which denies the up- and download:

firewall, popup-blocker, virus-scanner, etc...

Please check first:

3. Click Settings under Temporary Internet Files.

The Temporary Files Settings dialog box appears.

4. Click Delete Files.

The Delete Temporary Files dialog box appears.

Java Version 6.0 and 1.5.0

1. To clear the Java Plug-in cache:

Click Start > Control Panel.

2. Double-click the Java icon in the control panel.

The Java Control Panel appears.



In case of up- / download error (Clear Java Cache)

There are three options on window Temporary Files Settings to clear the cache.

Delete Files

View Applications

View Applets

Click OK on Delete Temporary Files window.

Note: This deletes all the Downloaded Applications and Applets from the cache.

Click OK on Temporary Files Settings window.

Note: If you want to delete a specific application and applet from the cache, click on View Application

and

View Applet options respectively.

Java Version 1.4.2: To clear the Java Plug-in cache:

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.

Double-click the Java Plug-in icon in the control panel.

The Java Plug-in Control Panel appears.

Click the Cache tab.

Click Clear.

A confirmation dialog box appears.

Click Yes to confirm.

Click Apply.

"FILES" function (detailed informations about up and downloaded data)

You can list your downloads or download a file again. The files are available for 10 days.

After that the files will be deleted.
