Challenges of Collaborative Evaluation

Collaboration at UNC has long history
• More than 10 years of UNC NRC collaboration in UNC negotiations and proposal writing, evaluation, community college work, outreach
• Not always pretty or smooth, but trust has developed over time
• Vibrant international profile
• Office of International Programs has engaged faculty, stresses transparency and fairness
• 2013 UNC group built proposal on expressed needs of WSSU faculty
