Was to be deployed when 52nd Airlanding Division was activated. 1st Airborne and 52nd Airlanding were to be under British 1st Airborne Corps and the American 18th Airborne Corps headquarters would take command of the 82nd and 101st. Instead only Ridgeway seems to have come to Browning's headquarters, but he did not take operational control of any units. 21

Armed with supplies for 82nd and 101st. Were supposed to arrive on September 19, arrived September 20. 22
