DYNAVISION D2™ VISUOMOTOR TRAINING DEVICE FEATURES

1. The system offers the following "state of the art" features:

4. Easy to install wall mount system.

5. L.E.D (light emitting diodes) light switches have long life span preventing burn out problems.

6. Optional Printer provides a print out analysis of each `run' on the system.

7. Dynavision D2™ Netbook control has multiple operating screens for total flexibility of programs. The user can employ any of 4 modes incorporating numerous light speeds. 8. The screen also indicates the lights in real time as they are activated. Thus allowing the operator to see exactly what the patient is viewing. The working area of the light panel may be reduced by eliminating the outer rings of lights and/or any combination of the 4 quadrants can be utilized.

9. Each run can be 30 seconds, 60 seconds, longer than 60 seconds or continuous. The flash option will flash 1 to 7 digits for a duration of 1 second to 0.1 second (7 different adjustments).

10 The Dynavision D2™ Netbook screen also shows score and other `run' information as well as acting as an instructional readout. Any person can operate the unit by following the instructions as they appear.

FLASH OPTION

The Flash Option gives the user the option of increasing the amount of visual information in the focal area. This intensifies concentration and also trains the user in bi-level processing (i.e. processing visual information in both focal and peripheral areas of the visual field simultaneously). This also increases stress on a different level than is achieved by speeding up the light movements, thus allowing the user to progress to higher processing levels on a very gradual, incremental basis.

The flash option will display from 1 to 10 digits at speeds of 1.0, 0.75, 0.50, 0.40, 0.25 and .1 seconds. These numbers appear every 6 seconds and the digits (current flash value) are displayed on the Netbook screen (for 6 seconds) so that a training partner can monitor the number of correct/incorrect responses. The numbers that are flashed will also appear in the printout with the record of correct responses as registered by the therapist. The therapist uses the score counter on the program to input the number of correct responses as heard when called out. (A more detailed explanation will be found later in this manual under using flash option.). The advanced Mode also offers, random letter flashes (option for 1-10 letters), words (1-10 letters) letters omitted for cognitive processing, math equations (1-10), scrolling text, shapes and objects or any combination of the above.

The Dynavision D2™ Netbook Screen display controls all system functions and displays ongoing scores as the user is going through his/her run. Running score, average reaction time, and the numbers that flashed (if applicable) are shown during and following a run.

PRINTER

The Dynavision D2™ can be connected to any USB printer.

The printer can be connected to the USB port on the Netbook. See figure 1 below.(NOTE: Netbook can change use below figure as Reference only)

SYSTEM SET UP.

Once the unit is securely fastened to the wall as per the installation instructions, you are now ready to connect the D2TM to the electrical outlet. Please make sure that the electrical outlet is functional.

Connect the Netbook to the electrical outlet and connect the cable from the D2TM to the USB port on the Netbook, see figure 2 below.

Power up the Netbook and wait for it to boot up.

Once the Netbook is ready, click on the “Operator’s Manual Icon” to get instructions on how to start the D2TM software program. You can print the “Operators Manual” if you choose.

Power on the D2TM by the switch located on the left hand side of the machine.

Once the Program recognizes the machine, the lights will begin to turn on and off very rapidly as they move around the LIGHT BOARD. The next step is to make sure all of the lights function properly and in order to do this you must now use the software program to initiate the test.

The first screen that you will see on the Program requires you to enter the SYSTEM PASSWORD which is set at the factory default as follows: Admin

Enter Admin and click OK, see figure 4. Make sure that you use capital “A” followed by common letters (dmin). You will not be able to see what you typed because it will show as asterisks. If you enter the incorrect password the system will respond by coloring the entry blue. Try it again making sure you pay attention that the CAPS lock key is not on.

Please click and read the software licence agreement and if you agree click on "OK" and proceed to enter the system Password. If you do not agree press Exit. You will not be able to use the system without first agreeing to the Software Licence Agreement.

Once you have entered the Password the next screen will appear which will allow you to do an initial test to make sure all of the lights are functioning properly on your D2TM You will click on the Icon that says “Diagnostics and Maintenance”, see figure 5 below.

Once you have clicked on the “Diagnostics and Maintenance” the next screen that appears will require you to click on the “Diagnostics Mode” ,see figure 6 below.

Follow the instructions on the screen. Check that all lights illuminate by pressing each of the Ring buttons in turn. Verify switch operation by pressing each switch in sequence and observing on the screen that each generates a Switch DOWN and Switch UP “event”. A beep should also be heard as each switch is pressed.

Once you have successfully completed the System Verification, click on “Done” you will be returned to the main program screen, see figure 8 below.

Note: In the event a light remains off or a switch does not generate an “event” contact Dynavision International LLC.

Run the Diagnostics test to make sure all of the lights are functioning before starting to use the full function of the Light Board. The screen below figure 7 will appear and you should then begin to hit the lights to deactivate and visibly look at the lights to see that they indeed activate and deactivate , continue for all 64 lights and you will get a score validating all 64 lights function. The user can stop at any time and start over.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Once the Light Board is secured to the wall, and the device connected to a wall outlet, the height of the light board may be raised or lowered by using the rocker switch on the lower left corner of the light board as shown in figure 8 below.

The machine can travel to 8 feet high, so make sure when you are raising the machine that you have the necessary ceiling space above. Additionally the machine can be lowered to a level of approx. 5.5 feet.

DYNAVISION D2™ BASICS

The Dynavision D2TM has flexibility for individualized programs because of its variety

of functions. In most programs the board is adjusted with the display at eye-level by

using the up/down switch to raise or lower the light board. The user is then instructed to

concentrate (not stare) into the Display focal point. He/she should stand in a comfortable

stance at a distance so as to be able to reach all lights easily (suggested distance is

approximately 1 foot away from working area). Hands should be in a position ready to

strike out at the lights as they come on one at a time. The users should be instructed to

strike and recoil as quickly as possible so as to be able to move on to the next light.

There is an audible “BEEP” on each successful hit. The object is to hit (deactivate) as

many lights as possible in a pre-determined time span and gradually improve the score.

Once you have successfully completed the system check out and verified all of the lights

are functional, you are now ready to test “drive” the D2TM and the ‘Select aTask

Screen” will appear ,click on “Select a Patient”, see figure 9 below.

On the screen above figure 9, you will Select a Patient and the next screen will ask you to “Add a Patient”, see figure 10 below, click on it and a new screen will appear that requires you to fill in the patient’s name, and their profile as you desire. It is necessary that you enter a name. It is entirely up to the user if they want to enter information in the other fields. Additionally it is optional if you desire to enter a “Password”, we suggest that it is always better to be Password protected especially if you have entered your personal information.

Note: This is the only button that can be used on this screen, if you do not want to add a patient, you can return to the Main Menu by clicking on the Main Menu button.

Once you have clicked on “Add a Patient” a patient profile field will appear, that you are required at a minimum to enter a Name, see figure 12.

Once you have entered the details, you can either password protect the information or you can choose to save the information without the password by clicking on save. You can also enter any notes in the Notes Box as you may choose and it will be saved under your profile. You can click on the cancel button at any time and the information will not be saved and you will return to the previous menu. When you are finished with this menu, you will return to the previous screen with your name added and now you will have access to all of the buttons on the screen, “ Add Patient”, View/ Edit Patient, Delete Patient, Use Light Board, View History and Main Menu”. You can now view the information by clicking on your name and viewing or editing your profile

information, you can delete your name or you can add another patient or user, see figure 14.

Enter New Patient Details If you have entered a name that is already existing in the Patients List, you will get an error message that notifies the user that the name is already taken. We suggest you then add your Middle Name or Nick Name or any other format you would like, see figure 12 below.

Deleting a Patient

The user is able to delete a patient from the Select a Patient Screen.

Click on the Patient that you would like to Delete and you will get a Prompt which asks, “ OK TO PERMANENTLY DELETE THE CURRENTLY SELECTED PATIENT INCLUDING THEIR RUN HISTORY” “YES OR NO” , at which time you would make your decision to delete or to keep, see figure 13 below.

Use Light Board View History

Once your name is entered you are now ready to use the Light Board. Click on your name and it will be high-lighted in blue and then click on “Use the Light Board button and a new screen will appear which will ask you to Select a Program, see figure 14 and 15.

If you click on the View History button you will go to a screen that has no history because you have not yet used the machine, so we should avoid being distracted and proceed to the next step by selecting the Use the Light Board button see figure 15 below.

You will see a series of Programs with an Asterisk *already loaded by the factory , as a first time user , we suggest that you click on one of the programs and it will be high-lighted in blue, once you have done that you can then proceed to hit run. The series of

Programs that have been preloaded are as follows: Mode A, Mode B, Mode C and Reaction Test. These modes will be explained as we proceed along. If you selected Mode A, you will see on the top right of the screen the settings for the Mode and the corresponding graphic of the board indicating the lights that will be active for the run. Before we click on “Run the Program” lets explain the difference of the modes.

Mode Explanations

Mode A: This is a “Reactive Mode” whereby a light will illuminate and you are required to strike it to turn it off , as soon as you “deactivate” the light another one will appear at a random location and you must react to then deactivate it, and the cycle continues until the run is over. The object of this test is to see how reactive you are in “deactivating “the light as fast as possible. This will then give you your average Reactive Time.

Mode B: this is a “Proactive Mode” whereby a light will illuminate for a specific time and then will automatically “deactivate” and move to another random location and the cycle will continue until the run is completed. The object of this exercise is to see how proactive you are in trying to ‘extinguish the light before it automatically goes off.

Mode C: This mode is used to exercise your eyes. You are required to follow the moving light as it moves around the Light board, changing direction as it goes through the cycle.

Reaction Mode: This mode is used as a baseline measurement to see what your reaction mode is before starting any exercises. You can then compare your progress against your original reaction time from the baseline test.

Now that we know what the tests are, let’s continue to run a test by selecting Mode A which was factory loaded, remember you are required to hit the light as fast as possible and to continue the process for each light that is illuminated. Take your position and when the run button is activated , the machine will count down from 5 to 0 (see figure 16 below) and the first light will illuminate, which will require a reaction from you ,

continue until the run is over, at which time you will hear a sound from the machine indicating the run is over!

During the run, the screen will show the position of the light as they appear on the machine, also it will show a running count of the “Hits” that were made and also give the Average Reaction Time. Additionally at the bottom left hand side of the screen it

indicates the time elapsed for the run, the run can also be stopped at any time, see figure 17 below.

After the run is finished the machine will sound to indicate the end of the run and a new screen will automatically appear, see figure 18 below. This screen shows a summary of the results for the run, it will be explained in more detail further on in this manual under “Interpreting The Tests.”

This is the results of your run, which will be explained fully in the chapter for “Interpreting the Tests”. The next step in the process is to click on “Done” and this screen will change to the user’s “History Screen” , see figure 15. You can click on View Details, Print or Delete this history if you so desire. This will be explained further in the manual under the section that explains each screen and the software explicitly. So

Creating and Understanding Programs

In order to configure a program you must first get to a screen that allows you to either, Use the Light Board, or Experiment with the Light Board from the Main Menu , figures 20, 21 and 22, illustrate the screens that you can access “The Configure a Program” menu.

Step1. Click on the “Experiment with Light Board “ icon from the Main Menu, figure 23 and you will be sent to the Configure a Program Menu, see figure 24 .

Mode Screen:

On this screen the program automatically defaults to Mode A and now you have options that you can execute for your program in Mode A. These options are Flash Option, Speed, Run Time, Quadrants: Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Right, Lower Left, Rings 1-5 or any combination.

Flash Option: This option allows you to change the number of digits that you will see on the Display in the center of the Dynavision D2™, it is generally referred to as a “Tachistoscope” or T-Scope. You have the option of none, or from 1 to 7 digits. Advanced mode will be described further down under Flash Explanation.

Use of the Flash Option: The Flash is used to present numbers for the user to call out at the same time they are trying to hit the lights. This can get very difficult as you escalate the number of digits programmed. The Flash forces the user to exercise more of their peripheral vision by forcing the user to focus at the Display in order that they do not miss the numbers being presented while they are hitting the lights. Figure 25 illustrates the screen that is presented if you choose to use the Flash Option.

Click on the number you would like to Flash to display or click none and the screen will return to the previous screen, Figure 24.

Speed Option: This option allows you to change the speed of the Flash, whereby the numbers on the Display will move faster or slower as you select. The Flash speeds can be varied from 1.0 seconds to 0.1 seconds. The degree of difficulty increases with faster flash times, see figure 26 for the screen that is presented for the Flash times, just click on your selection and then you will be returned to the previous menu.

Run Time Option: You have the choice of selecting the duration of the test by selecting the time from 30 seconds to “continuous” see figure 27 below. Click on your selection and then you will automatically return to the previous menu.

Select Quadrants Menu: This option allows the user to select all 4 quadrants of the board or any combination of the quadrants. All, Lower and Upper, Left and Right etc. as you select the quadrants they will light up in red to give the user a visual of the program being generated. Below there are screen examples of the quadrant selections. See figures 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32.

The option to select different quadrants enables the Trainer/Therapist to design specific routines for the patient to work on areas that they are having difficulty with, thereby realising a more productive session.

Select Rings: This option allows the user to select any combination of the 5 rings of lights to illuminate in. As you click on the selections you will get a visual display of the light pattern of the program you are generating on the display, see figures 33, 34, 35.

Mode “B” Screen

Mode B: In this Mode you now have some additional options that you can choose for your program. Press Mode B and you will see that an additional panel of buttons will appear. See Figure 36 below. This will allow the operator to select the speed at which the lights will change. The lights travel in random patterns at various (pre-set) speeds. Depending on the users' skill level he/she will work at (for e.g.) 5.0, 3.0, 1.0, 0.75 or 0.5 seconds. Each increasing speed puts more stress on the user. A large part of the program is to monitor the effect of these rising levels of stress on the physical responses of the patients. Another difference between Mode A and Mode B is the ability to add Green Lights, to control the number and location of the Green Lights. The function of the menu for Mode B is the same as it is for all modes.

Speed Option: This option allows the user to program the speed in which the lights will randomly move around the board, there is a programming speed range from 5.0 seconds to 0.25 seconds with the ability to go to 0.20 seconds. The user has the ability to fine tune the time by increments of 0.01 seconds or use the Slider, see figure 37. Once you have selected the speed click on the number and then OK and you will return to the previous screen, (figure 36).

Green Light Option /Number of Green Lights : The user is able to program the use of green lights in combination with the red lights by clicking the “No Green Lights button and a menu will appear with various choices , these selections range from None to 100 % Green lights see figure 38 below. The Green Light selection will graphically display to enable the user to see the program configuration.

Green Light Location Option : This option gives the user the ability select the location of the green lights .The user has a choice of either “All of the Light Board or just PARTIAL, see figure 39 .Once you clicked on your selection you will return automatically to the previous screen.

The remainder of the option functions in Mode B are identical to those of Mode A,. Quadrants, Working Area, Flash Option, Run Time etc. See figures 40, 41, for examples of a program with Green Lights.

Mode C: Press Mode C and it will bring up the screen that is shown in Figure 42 below. The lights travel around the outside circle at pre-set speeds. The options the operator will have will be to the program time and the light speed. The program time is how long it will run the exercise and the light speed is how quickly the lights change position. The user initially stands back approximately 6 feet from the system and tracks the lights without moving the head. As he/she is able, they will move closer to the board. The lights will change direction every 15 seconds. This exercise strengthens the muscles that control eye movements. The more developed your eye muscles are, the less likely you are to experience eye fatigue.

Mode C Options: The user has the ability to change the speed of the lights from 5.0 seconds to 0.20 with the ability to fine tune at 0.01 increments, the same way as in Mode B and secondly the ability to program the duration of the run similar to Mode B from 30 seconds to continuous. Recommended speeds are from 1.0 sec to faster times.

Saving a Program Once you have configured a program and would like to save it, you can click on “Save Program” and you will get a “POP UP” that requests you to “Please Enter a Name for Program Name”. Enter the name and click on “OK”, you can cancel at any time and you will return to the previous menu.

We suggest that you use a methodology in naming your programs for example: Mode -A-NF-1-60, this corresponds to Mode A, with no Flash, Speed of 1 second and duration of 60 seconds. You can do this for all modes, remember that the Reaction Time Mode is a “DYNAMIC Test”, see Program Name prompt message in figure 44 below.

The screen above figure 45 displays a series of “Factory Set Programs “ with Asterisks * in all Modes, the Asterisk* indicates that these programs cannot be “Edited” or “Deleted” . They can be used as templates for the user to develop their own program and then rename it according to our suggested naming format.

All Programs, Including the Factory Set programs will always be in the “Other Programs” box, the only time they will be transferred to the Patients’ Programs is when they have been used by the Patient, see figure 46 below.

Editing a Program

Programs can be edited to change any characteristics that best suits your run requirement by clicking on the “Edit Program” button.

Once you have changed the Program to your new requirements, you can save this program by clicking on the “Save Program” button.

Note Well: Standard or Factory Set Programs cannot be modified or changed in any way. If you used the Standard program as a template and made modifications you will be required to create a New Name for the program. If you do not change the name you will get an error message that says “Program names cannot start with an Asterisk *”, see figure 47 below.

Naming a Program

When new Programs or Programs that have been edited, they cannot be saved under the same name. The user needs to establish a new Program Name. If the same name is entered as an existing program you will receive an error message that states, “Name already exists”. Please enter a unique name and try again, see figure 47 below. We suggest you follow our suggested naming format to enter a new program name.

Deleting a Program

The user can delete any program from their list at any time. If there is a need to delete a program you no longer require, click on the Program Name in the “Patients Programs Box” and click on the Delete Button and a new screen will appear with prompts that you will need to answer, see figure 48 below.

Note well: The program will be deleted from your list but it will remain as a Program in the “Other Programs” so that you have the ability to recall it should you choose to do so. Additionally other users may be also using this program, so it remains in the “Other Programs Box”.

IMPORTANT: When you delete a Program you will also be deleting your Run History associated with this program. The prompt will say “Ok to Permanently delete the patient’s Run History for the currently selected program”.

The user will be prompted for a second time to ascertain that they truly would like to delete the program see figure 49 below. If the users’ selection is “Yes” there will be another prompt message that asks the user the following” Because other patients are using this program , this patient’s run history will be deleted but the program will not”.

Once the delete program is executed, the program will then move from the Patients Programs box back to the “Other programs Box” see figures 50 and 51 below.

Once the program is deleted from the Patients Programs box, it automatically moves back to the Other Programs box for other users or if the past user decided to reuse the program that was previously deleted. Note well, if they reuse the program it would be without any prior history. See figure 51 below

REACTION TIME

Press the Reaction Time button and it will show the screen in Figure 52 below. This test is used to establish a baseline for future analysis to measure the users’ Reaction Time improvement.

This program actually contains six tests, three for the right hand and three for the left.

Note: The left hand should always move to the right and the right hand should always move to the left.

THE TEST IS CARRIED OUT USING ONLY ONE HAND AT A TIME.

After you press REACTION TIME, then START, the lights that are involved in the first test will flash sequentially 3 times. DISREGARD THE BOTTOM GREEN LIGHT AS THIS IS USED TO CHANGE FROM ONE TEST TO THE NEXT.

Hold down the lit light to the right (with your right hand) and position yourself in front of the row of lights that light up during the demonstration. 1 of those 4 lights will come on randomly within 5 seconds. The object of the test is to move your right hand from the initial light to the reaction light as quickly as possible. Interpretation of the score is explained below. You can do as many repetitions of each test as you like. Simply relax, take a few seconds to reposition yourself and when you are ready hold down the lit light again. If you lift your hand off the initial light before the reaction light comes on you will score 0.00 on the score panel and printout. This prevents over-anticipation.

THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT IN THE REACTION TIME MODE.

When you want to move to the next test, simply press the GREEN light at the bottom of the inner ring of lights. The lights for the next test will then flash sequentially as in the first test. Now when you are ready, hold down the lit light on the left and follow the above procedure.

You can also skip any of the tests by pressing the GREEN Light until you get to the desired test. When you have finished you must press the GREEN Light until passing through all 6 tests. You will hear a long Beep. This indicates that you have completed the cycle of tests and can now have the results printed out by pressing PRINT.

The first and second tests involve a LINEAR random target switch. The third and fourth tests are again random, unknown targets, which will appear along an ARC in one of 8 different planes. Tests five and six are a simple choice (i.e. 1 light).

Reaction Mode : At the beginning of the test the screen will appear with a Red and Green Light as shown in figure 53. The Green Light is to advance the reaction test to the next test run, this Green Light should only be pressed should the user want to move on/advance to the next test.

Reaction Time Screen: When the test is in action, the screen will display one red light and then a new one will appear and the user must release the first red light to hit the one that randomly appeared. These series of tests will be measured for “Visual Reaction Time” and “Motor Reaction Time” as shown in figure 54.

INTERPRETING THE RESULTS

The first result is the Visual Reaction Speed, which is the amount of time it takes to identify the target and initiate a reaction. The second number is the Physical Response Speed, which is a measurement of the total elapsed time from the introduction of the target stimulus to the physical completion of the task (deactivating the light).

Your overall Motor Response Time is the amount of time (measured in 1/100’s of a second ) it takes to physically respond to the target, after the initial visual reaction. The following equation illustrates this:

Text and Graphical results Display

The screens below display the results of the run in text, graphically for the location of the lights and the Quadrants. It indicates the start and finish time, these times will only differ if you stop the program before the end of the run.

It shows the Fastest, Slowest, Average and Median times. The Median For example, if a < b < c, then the median of the list {a, b, c} is b, and if a < b < c < d, then the median of the list {a, b, c, d} is the mean of b and c, i.e. it is (b + c)/2.

This sometimes is equal to the average. It shows the number of lights in each quadrant and the corresponding hits, these should be equal to the Score.

It shows the Time/ Score Breakdown, whereby the user can see their score results for every 15 second interval.

The user can either Print the report, look at Quadrant Graph see figure 55, 56,57 and 58 below or exit by clicking on the “Done” button.

Figure 60 The Results by Quadrant gives the user a quick look at how they performed in each quadrant in relation to Average Reaction Time and the Score/Lights that they were able to deactivate in the run.

This display is useful whereby the Trainer/Therapist can quickly evaluate the Quadrant in which the patient is weakest.

History Screen This screen shows the historical runs of the Patient, Date/Time, Program Type, Score and Average Reaction Time, together with the Quadrant results and a graph of the runs for that Program.

The user can click on any of the runs in the history menu and it will graph. Note well only similar program runs can be graphed. The user cannot graph for example Mode A and Mode B runs together, the data would be irrelevant.

The user has the ability to either Print this history, return to using the Light Board, View the Details or Delete the Run History, Note Well: Once the Run History is deleted it is not recoverable.

The user has the ability to Graph each Quadrant , each Ring , Average Reaction Time and Score for each Quadrant or Ring, see figure 61, 62 and 63 below .

Printing of Reports/ History

The user has the ability to print their history in a variety of options. Reports can be on the Run History or Graphs of various results pertaining to Upper / Lower/ Right/ Left Quadrants/ Average Reaction Times etc.

To print a Run or History, click on the Print button and you will get a History printing menu that requires the user to select a print of all Programs, Selected Programs or Specific Dates or Ranges.

The user also has an option to print a list of the History or Graphs of specific run results/measurements and dates see figure 64 and 65 below.

A pop down menu will appear, see figure 65 above, so that the user can select the period that they would like to print, this can be a single date or a range of dates. Click on the dates in the calendar and once selected click on print.

Deleting Your History The User has the ability to delete the “Run History” as he/she chooses. Please note

that deleting the run history is unrecoverable.

To “Delete” a run, simply click on the run in the menu screen you would like to delete then click “Delete” , you will then receive a Prompt asking you “ OK To PERMANENTLY DELETE THE CURRENTLY SELECTED RUN RESULT” YES OR NO, at which time you would make your decision to delete or to keep, see figures 66 and 67 below.

Flash (Tachistoscope)

When the Tachistoscope or Flash is used the user will be required to call out aloud the numbers that appear on the display of the Light Board and the therapist is required to score the answers to what is reflected on the screen, for example, the screen below indicates that the Flash number is 3645662, and if the user says it correctly the therapist is not required to input anything , the machine will capture it, but if a digit(s) is incorrect from the ‘Call Out” then they would click on the number of digit (s) that is incorrect see figure 68 below. The Asterisk * is used if all digits are scrambled.

Administration Password Change

The Admin password can be changed for the Principal Person in charge of the machine by accessing the Tools and Maintenance Icon. The User can then enter their own Personal Password which locks the System from any unauthorized use. Please note, that it would be good practice to also share this secure password with a Supervisor or Manager in the event the user is not available due to holidays, personal days away etc. By clicking on the Tools and Maintenance Icon a screen will appear that will give you access to Password change, see figure 73 and 74 below and follow the prompts.

The Dynavision D2™ is guaranteed against all defects in workmanship to the original purchaser for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment, unless otherwise stated. Performance Enterprises will repair or replace, at our option, any equipment sold which proves to be defective during the warranty period. DAMAGED GOODS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS Damaged goods must be reported to the CARRIER immediately. Once they have been inspected and an insurance claim has been filed, then they may be returned to Dynavision International LLC for repair or replacement. Unacceptable materials may be returned for credit only if Dynavision International LLC is consulted and have pre-approved the return. Apparatus must be returned within 15 days after receipt of the article and in the original shipping carton. Always include a cover letter explaining the reason for returning the material and give the name of the person authorizing the return. Return goods must always be insured for their full value. SERVICE If any product should fail, call Dynavision International LLC for advice re: service or possible return for factory service. If return is necessary, the board should be packed securely, insured for full value, and returned along with a cover letter explaining the malfunction noted so that the technicians at Dynavision International LLC may quickly locate the cause of the malfunction and repair it as quickly and effectively as possible. Warranty repairs will be returned to you freight prepaid. All labour and parts will be covered under the conditions of the warranty. Non-warranty repairs will be invoiced on the basis of the materials and labour required to execute the necessary repairs, plus freight charges.

To clean the light board, ensure that the device is powered off. DynavisionTM recommends cleaning the panel of the light board on a weekly basis. To clean the light board, ensure that the device is powered off. Clean the display surface with a soft, clean cloth and 99% Isopropyl rubbing alcohol. The metal surfaces may also be cleaned with rubbing alcohol.

There is no annual calibration required for the Dynavision D2™

Ongoing Maintenance

DynavisonTM recommends that you check the function of the LED switches monthly to ensure proper function of your Dynavision D2™. To perform this check, place the device in the diagnostic mode and perform a function check of each switch.

ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE

To avoid any potential electromagnetic or any other interference from this device, do not use this device in presence of other electrical devices.

DYNAVISION D2™ TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

DynavisionTM will make available on request, circuit diagrams, component parts lists, descriptions, calibration instructions, or other information, which will assist the user’s technical personnel to repair those parts of the equipment, which are designated by DynavisionTM as repairable.
