Benefit to exhibit at OPIE
OPIE is evolving year by year and provides more satisfaction to exhibitors.
OPIE is dedicated for optics/photonics with large scale of over 390 exhibitors who take significant and outstanding roles in their relevant fields.(2019 result)・All the exhibitors take significant role in photonics industry. No
parallel-exhibition in other fields will be held with this show. All the visitors in OPIE have sole objective to see ‘photonics’. OPIE is the only trade show/exhibition that is dedicated for pho-tonics and has maintained the scale of near-400 exhibitors or even increasing every year.
More visitors come to join OPIE every year.・Since it is a specialized exhibition of light and photonics, inter-
ests of the visitors and information provided by the exhibi-tors overlap each other, so opportunity for concrete business meeting is higher than “general” trade show. The number of visi-tors continues to increase year by year.・For mobilization of visitors, we, The Optronics Co., Ltd. have
added new implementations every year, for example this year, public announcement using partnerships with various medias, utilization of SNS, individual promotion mails taking the past visitor’s history and profiles into account, extensive e-mail promotion through our network etc.
OPIE has strong relationship with OPIC which has known as one of the big academic conferences.・As technologies in photonics are always moving advance. Visi-
tors are very keen to have fresh and up-to-date information for the research activities happing in major company / university in North America/Europe and new comers in Asian countries.・The number of exhibitors from oversea countries like North
America, Europe and Asia has been increasing for research en-gineers to attend OPIC, international academic conference. It is getting to be motivation for the visitors to investigate new cutting edge technologies.
OPIE offers new services to the exhibitors.・We will introduce ‘Online Expo’ to help the exhibitors promote
their product after OPIE closes. The information of the exhibitors on the OPIE web page will be on ‘Online Expo’ (= virtual exhibi-tion on the Web) and it will continue to help the promotion of the exhibitor’s products for a half year.・If you try to find new persons in your company, we will advertise
it on OPIE website. It will be catchy for the visitors.・We are also aiming that our exhibition can contribute to match
“seeds” of exhibitors with “needs” of visitors. We are investi-gating implementations which can offer unique benefits to exhibi-tors. We will provide the information by emails and our website.

Features of OPIE (Based on the survey results)
There are few voices from the visitor questionnaire that there is no difference compared with other exhibitions, and many visitors have appreciated the features of OPIE at this time. We aim to become the largest pho-tonics exhibition in Japan and we try for the themes to this purpose.
Exhibitions operated by The Optronics Co., Ltd. are not co-located with exhibitions that have the theme of gen-eral electronics as seen in other exhibitions. Visitors will come for the theme related to photonics, posi-tioning and medical. It is one of the features that there are many visitors with concrete subjects. Most of the exhibitors have said that quality of visitors is high.
In addition, by holding highly specialized seminars, engineers who are active in various fields of optical technology have been mobilized and most of them vis-ited with tasks and subjects in line with the theme of the exhibition. Approximately half of exhibitors are ap-preciating that the seminars are effective.
As a result, each visitor’s staying time was long and more than 12% of those visited for more than two days. We saw the exhibitors had meetings directly connected to their business at their booths. According to the survey result, over 40% of exhibitors have got pur-chase orders at the booth or they likely would have orders, and 97% of exhibitors felt a good response with business opportunities.
OPIE is an exhibition that has acquired high satisfaction from exhibitors as a rich and intense exhibition in the field of photonics.

This exhibition combines optical lenses with all the peripheral parts, designs, and manufacturing equipment to showcase the full range of optical lens products. Many industrial fields depend on optical technologies and there are increasing requirements for quality design and manufacturing equipment. Demand is growing, not only for mass-produced lenses, but also high added-value optical products. Companies that can meet these specification requirements are necessary in today’s growing market. At this exhibition, it is possible to understand the current optical lens design/manufacturing industry standards and connect them to your business.

Cameras are attracting a lot of attention in the autonomous vehicle industry, but this is just one example of the changing role of cameras in the modern world. Industrial and FA cameras, robot / IoT / networked cameras, nursing care and monitoring cameras, surveillance cameras, and other specialized cameras for measurement, research and biomedical applications are continually improving. At the same time, spectroscopic measurement technology has made remarkable progress through the development of light sources, spectrum analysis, and information processing technology. As technology improves and becomes more cost-effective, Raman spectroscopic techniques are becoming more common for industrial use. However, until now, there has been no place to exchange information while looking over the entire range of industrial camera systems. Similar to the previously organized exhibition called “Vision Japan”, the Industrial Camera Expo was launched in 2017 by The Optronics Co., Ltd. to serve international companies that specialize in advanced camera systems. Now the 2019 Industrial Camera & Advanced Imaging Expo combines the full spectrum of industrial cameras with the latest software, processing, and network technology. OPIE—Optics & Photonics International Exhibition is becoming the largest optics and photonics technology exhibition in Japan, and it is extremely synergistic to hold the Industrial Cameras & Advanced Imaging Expo in this setting.
