Mrs. Leinenbach, Principal It has been an honor to work with our Cambridge students, parents and staff as this year has begun! I thankyou for your hard work, determination, patience and flexibility as we have maneuvered through the firstnine weeks, continuing to contend with the pandemic while providing a safe and academically challengingenvironment for our students! We thank you for entrusting your child’s high school career to us and welook forward to our continued partnership as we journey together and accompany each other as membersof the Gainesville High School Family!

Our highly qualified faculty and staff are prepared to share the best teaching strategies and communicationtools for the academic and social growth of our students. It is our intention to ensure that our students areprovided with the knowledge and the confidence necessary to become aware of their infinite worth andcontribute to the good of society with their lives. As the school principal, I want every child, parent, andfamily member to feel welcome and share in our excitement for learning. Mrs. Butfiloski, Cambridge CoordinatorStudents enrolled in AS and A Level AICE courses will take Cambridge Exams at the end of the year. The examsare tentatively scheduled between April 25th and June 19th, 2022. Cambridge will finalize the exams schedulewithin the next two months. We will share the finalized exams schedule with parents and students beforeWinter Break.

Miss Steinke, Assistant Principal of CurriculumHello Cambridge students and families! I am excited to be joining GHS as the Assistant Principal ofCurriculum. It is already October and we have made it through the first 9 weeks and we are setting up tohave another successful quarter ahead. I have made it into 9th grade classes to talk to incoming Cambridgestudents about the importance of the honor code.
