Let All Creation Praise Him…Always!

Psalm 148: 1-5

2 Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts! 3 Praise him, sun and

moon, praise him, all you shining stars! 4 Praise him, you highest heavens,

and you waters above the heavens! 5 Let them praise the name of the Lord!

For he commanded and they were created!

at times with sadness, grief, or even despair, praise to the One who can heal

heart and medicine for a sickly soul. So, in every circumstance remember,

our worship should be driven by His worthiness, not our moodiness!

“Come, ye children of God, and bless his dear name; for doth not all nature

wave in adoration? Do not the lightnings write his name in letters of fire upon

the midnight darkness? Doth not this world, in its unceasing revolutions, per-

petually roll forth his praise? Hath not the whole earth a voice, and shall we

be silent? Shall man, for whom the world was made, and suns and stars ere

created—shall he be dumb? No, let him lead the strain.” Charles Spurgeon

- Submiitted by David Smith -

Christian Missionary Alliance

Our primary objective is Jesus’ com-

mand to “go” and “make disciples.”

We believe every follower of Jesus is

equipped to grow in His love and

lead others to follow Him.

Pastor’s Note

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

Commenting on this text, A.W.

be still for at least a part of the day,

or that day would be wasted! God can be known in the tumult, if His

providence has for the time placed us there. But He is known best in

the silence, so they held,

the stillness. We must be still to know!

Christ’s presence and His power are offered to us in this time of mad

activity…as certainly as

of Judea. The only condition is that we get

still enough to hear His voice and that we believe and heed what we

hear.”

May we all know the joy and peace that comes only from being

still in His presence!
