About us Aeris is a company developing and producing high end air purification devices that is operating globally since 2015. We are now ready to make a big splash as we enter the next growth stage. Operating as a bootstrapped startup to an established and well-known brand, both in the D2C and retail spaces. We deeply value people with a growth mindset, who are constantly looking to learn and grow in their work, and who are not afraid to learn from mistakes and failures. We deeply value working together and succeeding together as a team as opposed to achieving individual star status. That means a culture where we all succeed and grow together through our work, and in doing so, all rise together. We’re looking to hire new engineering interns who will be working with our management team on exciting new developments. About you You are an engineer by training and by heart. You love designing and building new products from scratch or improving good products to turn them into great products. This is a highly entrepreneurial role, working directly with aeris’s founding team to drive the development of a new product category, which will go into production at the end of 2020. You’re a mechanical or electrical engineer, who is looking for an (industrial) internship program with a duration of 6-12 months. You’ve tinkered around on a variety of prototypes and production projects before. You’ve finished your bachelor studies in engineering and you’ve already either designed PCBs, coded Firmware, designed plastic or metal parts, simulated an FEM or particle flow analysis, created controls systems, run reliability and/or stress tests before (min. one of these, the more the better) Send us a description of your best project and explain us what your contribution was. Key Responsibilities - Development of one of the following essential product components: PCB and control systems, plastic components, wires and connectors, user interfaces, power systems - Analysis designed component on total systems and its impact on the total system - Assemble prototypes and run stress tests on them - Design for manufacturing analysis for designed components - Manufacturing implementation of designed components with SOPs and initial sampling Side note Job is located in Cham and remote work is not an option.
