WHERE TO INSTALL? Add a disk for about 320GB so that you have sufficient disk space to install Em12c into the VM template before starting the install. We would recommend at least 14GB memory allocated to use it for the purposes of rehydration.
INSTALLATION
Post install verification Two important checks:
1. Check using browser that all managed servers in EM Weblogic Console are running Environment>Servers> all 3 managed servers are running
2. Go to the EM 12C machine:
Verify you can login using sysman/[Your password provided during install]- it will show some targets down – that is ok. If you are able to login successfully you should be ok. Please see the EM12c documentation for starting and stopping EM12c and OMS. You mut have all the required services running during rehydration. If you don’t use the EM12c for monitoring the FA install after rehydration then you can stop the EM12c services after the rehydration is successfully completed.
