Our focus on (big) data

• Data always has been an important part of our logistics company

• Our success in e-book distribution learned us that our added value is not just in smart (digital) logistics.

• Our Infographics regarding developments in de Dutch retail market where originally launched as promotion for our (e-book) distribution services, but became a valued market research source.

Deployment of DBIM 12c at CB

• Roll out of OBIEE for internal use in 2011 with ca 10 million records.• We worked for 2,5 years trying to get Exalytics with Times Ten (another IM

database) up and running, without proper results• We needed to step up to 150 million records.• Finally DBIM 12c was available to us in March 2015• All up and running within 1 week • All in-memory (1TB) and all parallel (40 Cores)• Now 6 month’ s in a stable set up, available for beta clients without issues• As of January 2016 our Analytics applications based on OBIEE, will be

available for all our clients and meanwhile we have already extended our database tot 0,5 billion records to grow towards 1 billion in the next year.

• How to execute on efficiency profit and serious cost reduction in our account management/customer service with our new Analytics product?
