The Tax Engine comprises of functions specific to the transaction invoking it : Purchase Orders :POPULATE_PO_TAX Transfers : POPULATE_TSF_TAX Return to Vendors :POPULATE_RTV_TAX The tax is calculated on the basis of the tax assignments created. If the transaction carried out satisfies a given tax assignment, the respective tax rate associated with that tax assignment is applied on the transaction. The Sales tax from POS is calculated on the basis of the MRP/Retail only. The Sales related tax for the item location combination is posted in the table, tax_breakup_sales through the batch program posupld
