Foreword Orasi Software Inc. recognizes that its employees must be prepared for any and all foreseeable emergencies. This emergency action plan was developed to accommodate having a plan in place for various emergency situations. It provides detailed emergency instructions for employees, who work at Orasi Software Inc, Greensboro, NC to ensure employee and visitor safety during fire, severe weather, and other emergencies.
Emergency Action Plan
Purpose
This emergency action plan provides standard protocols for specific emergency situations that may occur at the Greensboro facility.
Responsibilities
Safety Coordinators:
1. During Evacuation or Fire a. Ensure everyone evacuates their assigned area. b. Single point of contact throughout evacuation c. Coordinate with emergency personnel for:
i. Unaccounted for employees. ii. When it is safe to reenter building.
2. During a medical emergency: a. Coordinates emergency response, this includes:
i. If 911 not called, have them called. ii. Have someone guide emergency personnel to 3rd floor
3. During Severe Weather (such as Tornado warning) a. Once emergency warning given thru alert, monitor where tornado is via web or
TV to determine if action needs taken
Consulting Managers/ Directors
1. During Evacuation or Fire a. Take attendance of direct reports
i. Report anyone missing to Safety Coordinator

Reporting Emergencies
Fire Emergency
If fire or smoke is seen the following should be done immediately:
o Stay calm and do not panic o Pull Fire Alarm o Evacuate o Call 911. Give the following information:

o Call Property Management at 336-605-5338 (After Evacuation and 911 is called)
Medical Emergency
If there is a medical emergency the following should be done immediately:
o Stay calm and do not panic. o Call 911. Give the following information:
Type of Emergency (bleeding, fall, unconsciousness, chest pain, etc.)) Building Name - Volvo Financial Services Building Building Address – 7025 Albert Pick Road, Suite 300; Greensboro, NC
27409 Floor – 3rd Sex, age, and condition of victim
o Have someone get a Safety Coordinator. o Have someone meet Emergency Medical Services personnel on main floor of
building to direct them to the victim. o Do not move victim. o Keep victim as quiet and comfortable as possible. o After the victim has been properly attended, notify Property Management at
336-605-5338 that a medical emergency has occurred in the building.

Elevator Emergency
If you hear someone trapped in the elevator between floors, contact the Office Admin or
contact Property Management at 336-605-5338.
If Elevator stops between floors:
Stay calm and do not panic
If the emergency stop button is pushed in, pull it back out. This should reactivate the
normal cycle of operation.
If elevator remains stopped, activate the emergency alarm bell or use the emergency
telephone to alert nearby persons to your situation.
Ask the person who responds to contact Property Management at 336-605-5338.
A repair technician will be dispatched immediately to be of assistance.
DO NOT TRY TO OPEN THE ELEVATOR DOORS! The elevator is equipped with mechanical safety
devices, which will operate under these conditions. Remain calm and wait for assistance.
Evacuation Policy and Procedure Stay calm and do not panic
Emergency Exit Signs pointing to evacuation routes are displayed throughout the office
area.
Evacuate using closest pre-selected route designated by Emergency Exit Signs that does
not lead through public access areas such as main lobbies. Move to the nearest
stairwell and walk down the stairs quickly. DO NOT RUN!
DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS TO EVACUATE THE BUILDING! The electrical power to
the building may fail, trapping you inside the elevator.
Exit the building and proceed to the EVACUATION ASSEMBLY are marked on the map in
this document.
Alert emergency personnel to the location of any disabled individuals who may need
assistance to evacuate the building.
Remain in the EVACUATION ASSEMBLY AREA until you are given further instructions by
emergency personnel. DO NOT RE-ENTER THE BUILDING UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD TO DO
SO!
Safety Coordinator should be in contact with emergency personnel.

Assembly Location and Procedures
After an evacuation of the building, all employees are to meet at the designated
Assembly Location shown below.
Each Consulting Manager is responsible to account for their direct reports after an
evacuation at the Assembly Area. o If a Consulting Managers is out then their Director will take attendance.
The Office Administrator will be responsible for accounting for guests visiting the office. If anyone is missing it should be reported to the Safety Coordinators.

Bomb Threat If a bomb threat is received by mail, telephone, or otherwise follow the following instructions:
Remain calm.
If by telephone, keep the person talking and ask them to repeat their message.
Ask the caller these questions:
o What time will the bomb explode?
o Where is the bomb?
o What type of bomb/ What will make it explode?
o (mechanical, movement of clock, chemical)
o If dynamite, how many sticks?
o What does it look like? (Description of package)
o Did you place the bomb? Why?
o What is your name?
*Include:
Age, Sex, and race of caller
Date, time, and length of call
Exact words used
Call 911.
Notify property management immediately: 336-605-5338.
Complete the above checklist as well as the BOMB THREAT CHECKLIST provided and
have it ready for the authorities.
If by mail:
Call 911.
Notify property management immediately at 336-605-5338.
Any bomb threat must be treated seriously and must be reported immediately, no matter
how insignificant it may seem!

Inclement Weather
Winter Weather
When inclement weather and dangerous road conditions exist, please use your best judgment
when reporting to work.
Contact your functional manager if you feel that you are unable to safely report to work or will
be late reporting to work due to the dangerous road conditions.
If the weather conditions warrant closing the office, an e-mail will be sent out to the
Greensboro group by 6:30 AM.
Tornado/ Hurricane Procedures
Tornado/ Hurricane Watch= conditions exist in the watch area for formation
Tornado/ Hurricane Warning= a formation has been spotted in your area
If a tornado/ hurricane warning has been issued:
Safety Coordinator is to be informed.
Safety Coordinator is to monitor location of tornado/hurricane, if threat is valid for
office then the following procedure will be put into place:
o Do NOT panic.
o Move away from the building perimeter and exterior glass.
o Leave exterior offices and close the doors.
o Go into the nearest stairwell.
o Sit down or kneel, protect your head.
o Remain in the stairwell until the emergency conditions no longer exist.
If you are in transit in the building:
Go into the nearest stairwell
If you are caught in a perimeter office:
get under a desk and protect your head and face
Under no circumstances should you leave the building!
Follow these procedures if severe weather strikes without warning.

Workplace Violence What is it? Any intentional act that inflicts, attempts to inflict, or threatens to inflict bodily hurt on another person or that inflicts, attempts to inflict, or threatens to inflict, damage to property, whether committed by an employee or by anyone else and which occurs in the workplace, at a business site location or while an employee is engaged in company business. A Workplace is composed of all company property and any other locations where employees are performing their work. Who is Responsible?? Everyone is responsible for responding promptly to Workplace Violence. All staff members are encouraged to take appropriate measures to protect themselves and personal property and report Workplace Violence incidents or concerns to their supervisor. Supervisors are responsible for responding to the concerns of employees pertaining to threatening or intimidating behavior from internal and external customers. All staff members are responsible for cooperating when emergency response procedures are activated.
Threatening or Violent Situation
o Stay calm and do not panic o Call 911. Give the following information:
Type of Emergency- Describe the situation in detail and whether dangerous weapons/firearms are involved and any other pertinent information.

27409 Floor – 3rd Activate the fire alarm –– Evacuate through the safest exit (primary or alternate)
to the assembly area for accountability. Remain outside –– until emergency personnel arrive.. Do not take any actions
that may result in further escalation of the situation. Return to work –– only after being cleared to do so by the Safety Coordinator.

Floor Maps Floor maps such as the one at the end of this Emergency Action Plan is marked with locations of pull
alarms, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and escape routes will be posted throughout near exits and
various areas of the office.
First Aid Kits First aid kits are large orange kits containing basic first aid supplies. The kits are located in the following
three places.
- Office administrator’s desk in Lobby
- Small break room in the cabinet under the sink
- Large break room on top of the refrigerators
