Indications:Endosseal anchorage of maxillo-facial epitheses in the regions of the frontal bone, maxillary bone, lateral and upper regions of the nose and the ear; to be used also as tooth and jaw implants. For rehabilitation following radiation therapy or in cases with a reduced bone supply.TOI® implants may be used also as jaw implant and in bi-cortical anchorage.

Radiograph after placement of three basal implant in the midface. The implants will be splited through a bar which then holds the epithesis to replace the nose.

The implants utilize the width of the bone. The treatment will be finished in a delayed load protocol, because the swelling of the soft tissues must cease first.

ZSI: ZYGOMA - SCREWS - IMPLANTS

ZSI-Implants are placed trans-sinualy or below/inside the crista zygomatico-alveolaris, and in the alveolar crest of the maxilla. For cortical anchorage in the zygomatic bone. Depending on the anatomic situation the smooth parts of the implants are positioned below the Schneiderian mebrane or below the oral muscosa. These implants are to be used only by trained surgeons. ZSI-Implants provide a bending area below the cementing abutment. Therfore they can be aligned with other abutments in the center of the crest after the implant has been placed. An additional vertical osteotomy may be necessary (see the drawing) . This implant can be used in combination with tubero-pterygoid screw implants (BCS). The treat-ment protocol requires immediate splinting. Material: Titanium alloy, Ti6AI4V ELI.
