DEFINITION

Order of Importance is one of the standard patterns used for organizing information. It is used by organizing information according to its importance and by using either a descending or an ascending order.

Recipes (Baked Ziti)Ingredients

1 lb. dry ziti pasta1 onion, chopped1 lb. lean ground beef2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced1 ½ c. sour cream6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

Directions1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted

water to a boil. Add ziti pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 min; drain.

2. In a large skillet, brown onion and ground beef over medium heat. Add spaghetti sauce, and simmer 15 min.

3. Preheat the oven to 350oF. Butter a 9x13 in. baking dish. Layer as follow: 12 sauce mixture, remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese and remaining sauce mixture. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.

4. Bake for 30 min in the preheated oven, or until cheeses are melted.Cooking recipes such as this one use order of

importance to instruct the reader how to cook a certain meal. If the steps are not followed in the proper order, then the dish will not turn out right.
