    MORNING WORSHIP

    Prelude Music Mr John Sutcliffe & Mr Len Ryan

    Welcome Mr John Ivett

    Congregational Singing “Holy, Holy, Holy” NICAEA

    Holy, holy, holy, Lord God almighty!

    Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;

    Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty,

    God in three Persons, blessèd Trinity!

    Holy, holy, holy! all the saints adore Thee,

    Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;

    Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,

    Which wert and art and evermore shalt be.

    Holy, holy, holy! though the darkness hide Thee,

    Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;

    Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,

    Perfect in power, in love, and purity.

    Holy, holy, holy, Lord God almighty!

    All Thy works shall praise Thy name, in earth, and sky, and

    sea;

    Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty,

    God in three Persons, blessèd Trinity! REGINALD HEBER

    Prayer Mr John Ivett

    Congregational Singing “We Are One in the Bond of Love”

    We are one in the bond of love;

    We are one in the bond of love;

    We have joined our spirits with the Spirit of God;

    We are one in the bond of love.

    “When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a

    tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.”

    (1 Corinthians 14:26 ESV)

    Let us praise Jesus Christ the Son;

    Praise him now for the work begun;

    Let us join our hands that the world may know

    We are one in the bond of love. Otis Skillings

    Scripture In Song No 134 “For I’m Building a People of Power”

    For I’m building a people of power,

    And I’m making a people of praise

    That will move through this land by My Spirit

    And will glorify My precious name.

    Build Your church, Lord

    Make us strong, Lord.

    Join our hearts, Lord, through Your Son.

    Make us one, Lord, in Your body,

    In the kingdom of Your Son. (Repeat Song) Dave Richards

    Scripture In Song No 262

    “Come People of the Risen King”

    Come, people of the risen King,

    Who delight to bring Him praise.

    Come, all and tune your hearts to sing

    To the Morning Star of grace.

    From the shifting shadows of the earth

    We will lift our eyes to Him,

    Where steady arms of mercy reach

    To gather children in.

    Refrain:

    Rejoice! Rejoice!

    Let ev’ry tongue rejoice!

    One heart, one voice,

    O Church of Christ, rejoice!

    Come, those whose joy is morning sun,

    And those weeping through the night.

    Come, those who tell of battles won,

    And those struggling in the fight.

    For His perfect love will never change,

    And His mercies never cease,

    But follow us through all our days

    With the certain hope of peace.

  • 4

    Come, young and old from every land,

    Men and women of the faith.

    Come, those with full or empty hands,

    Find the riches of His grace.

    Over all the world, His people sing,

    Shore to shore we hear them call

    The Truth that cries through every age;

    “Our God is all in all.”

    Refrain:

    Rejoice! Rejoice!

    Let ev’ry tongue rejoice!

    One heart, one voice,

    O Church of Christ, rejoice!

    Rejoice! Rejoice!

    Let ev’ry tongue rejoice!

    One heart, one voice,

    O Church of Christ, rejoice! KEITH & KRISTYN GETTY & STUART TOWNEND

    *Congregational Singing “We Love the Place, O God” QUAM DILECTA

    We love the place, O God,

    Wherein Thine honour dwells;

    The joy of Thine abode

    All earthly joy excels.

    We love the house of prayer,

    Wherein Thy servants meet;

    And Thou, O Lord, art there

    Thy chosen flock to greet.

    We love the word of life,

    The word that tells of peace,

    Of comfort in the strife,

    And joys that never cease.

    We love to sing below

    For mercies freely giv’n;

    But O, we long to know

    The triumph song of heav’n.

    Lord Jesus, give us grace

    On earth to love Thee more,

    In heav’n to see Thy face,

    And with Thy saints adore. vv. 1-2 WILLIAM BULLOCK (1798 - 1874)

    *Congregational Singing “O God Whose Voice Has Called Us” AURELIA

    O God whose voice has called us

    To life and faith in Thee;

    Whose hand has led us onward

    In ways of liberty,

    Whose love has filled with sunshine

    Our strangely ordered ways

    Accept this happy morning

    Our hymns of grateful praise.

    O Christ, by whom we gather

    Around the Father’s throne,

    Accept our heart’s obedience

    Receive us as Your own.

    We know no other worship

    Than that we give to Thee,

    O Lamb of God, our Saviour,

    From all eternity.

    O ever blesséd Spirit

    Pledge of the Father’s care,

    Your helper all victorious,

    Assist our praise and prayer.

    Lead now our hearts in worship

    Before the Throne of Grace,

    And cleanse our inward vision

    To see our Master’s face.

    MEETINGS SUNDAY, 17 January 10.30 am Morning Worship Service 6.30 pm Evening Worship Service—Communion SUNDAY, 24 January 10.30 am Morning Worship Service 6.30 pm Evening Worship Service

    The ministries of our Church are dependent upon the tithes and offerings of the

    congregation. At this time, the COVID-19 regulations prevent us from receiving

    these gifts in the normal way. As an act of worship, the Church is currently

    receiving these gifts in a number of ways:-

    Offerings may be placed in the envelopes received with your order of service and placed in the boxes at the entry to the Church.

    We do have an Electronic Funds Transfer Machine available after the service.

    Ask for Neil Pfeffer (or, in Neil’s absence, Catherine Wooster).

    Use the tear off section on the back of the order of service and place it in the boxes at the entry.

    Electronic Funds Transfer to our Church’s dedicated offering account. (Only the

    Treasurer and the Church’s Auditors can “see” this account.)

    BSB: 704 913 Account No: 400019634

    Please continue to pray that we will be good stewards of the resources our Lord

    has entrusted to us.
