He Will Come And Save You

Verse 1 Say to those who are fearful-hearted,

“Do not be afraid”; The Lord, your God, is strong with His mighty arms.

When you call on His name; He will come and save.

Chorus

He will come and save you, He will come and save you;

Say to the weary one, “Your God will surely come,” He will come and save you. He will come and save you, He will come and save you; Lift up your eyes to Him,

you will arise again, He will come and save you.

Verse 2

Say to those who are broken-hearted, “Do not lose your faith’;

The Lord, your God, is strong with His loving arms. When you call on His name;

He will come and save. (Chorus)

Bridge He is our refuge in the day of trouble, He is our shelter in the time of storm; He is our tower in the day of sorrow,

our fortress in the time of war. (Chorus)

My Faith Looks Up to Thee

Verse 1 My faith looks up to Thee

Thou Lamb of Calvary Saviour divine

Now hear me while I pray Take all my guilt away O let me from this day

Be wholly Thine

Verse 2 While life's dark maze I tread And grief's around me spread

Be Thou my guide Bid darkness turn to day Wipe sorrow's tears away

Nor let me ever stray From Thee aside

Verse 3

When ends life's transient dream When death's cold sullen stream

Shall o'er me roll Blest Saviour then in love Fear and distrust remove

O bear me safe above A ransomed soul

Confession and Forgiveness

Pastor: Jesus calls us to deny ourselves. Congregation: Yet we trust in our own works rather than in God’s grace.

P: Jesus calls each of us to take up our cross. C: Yet rather than allow our selfishness and sin to be put to death,

we cling to what we know. P: Jesus calls us to follow him.

C: Yet we fear where faith will lead and what it might change in our lives. P: In this moment of silence, we confess the sin that separates us from one another

and from God.

-Silence for reflection-

P: People of God, hear this good news. God’s covenant with us is true. God is faithful even when we fail. Through the Holy Spirit, God gives us the gift of faith and makes us

righteous. P: Believe in the good news that you are set free to live as children of God.

C: Amen. Thanks be to God!

‘Tis So Sweet to Trust In Jesus

How I've proved Him o'er and o'er Jesus Jesus precious Jesus

O for grace to trust Him more

Verse 2 O how sweet to trust in Jesus

Just to trust His cleansing blood Just in simple faith to plunge me

'Neath the healing cleansing flood (Chorus)

Bigger Than Any Mountain

Chorus Bigger than all my problems

Bigger than all my fears God is bigger than any mountain

That I can or cannot see Bigger than all my questions

Bigger than anything God is bigger than any mountain

That I can or cannot see

Verse 1 Bigger than all the shadows

That fall across my back God is bigger than any mountain

That I can or cannot see Bigger than all the confusion

Bigger than anything God is bigger than any mountain

That I can or cannot see (Chorus)

Verse 2 Bigger than all the giants

Fear and unbelief God is bigger than any mountain

That I can or cannot see Bigger than all my hang ups

Bigger than anything God is bigger than any mountain

That I can or cannot see (Chorus)

Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified,

died, and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again

to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life

everlasting. Amen.

Page 6: Order of Worship · C: Yet rather than allow our selfishness and sin to be put to death, we cling to what we know. P: Jesus calls us to follow him. C: Yet we fear where faith will

The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our

trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the

glory, forever and ever. Amen.

We Believe

Verse 1 In this time of desperation

When all we know is doubt and fear, There is only one foundation:

We believe, we believe. In this broken generation,

When all is dark, You help us see. There is only one salvation;

We believe, we believe.

Chorus We believe in God the Father.

We believe in Jesus Christ. We believe in the Holy Spirit, And He's given us new life.

We believe in the crucifixion. We believe that He conquered death.

We believe in the resurrection, And He's coming back again.

We believe.

Verse 2 So, let our faith be more than anthems,

Greater than the songs we sing, In our weakness and temptations We believe, we believe! (Chorus)

Ending

He's coming back again. He's coming back again. We believe, we believe!
