FAMILY NEWS Current Adult Class Schedule Teachers Location Subject Johnny Adams Fellowship Hall Temptations of Jesus Robin Yeldell Room 301- Upstairs Questions for God Christmas Eve Service Our annual Christmas Eve Service with Country Bible Church will be at 5:00pm on December 24th. 2017 is our year to host! We hope to see many of you here as Advent comes to a close and we celebrate Jesus! Christmas/New Years Schedule Sunday, December 24th – No Classes – Worship at 10:00am* Christmas Eve Service – 5:00 – 6:00pm Wednesday, December 27th – No Classes Sunday, December 31st – No Classes – Worship at 10:30am Wednesday, January 3rd – No Classes Volunteers Needed –Community Tax Preparation Service KCOC will be hosting a community service to provide Income Tax preparation and filing for low/moderate income families in Kaufman County in a couple of months, and we need volunteers to provide the service. Training is provided along with software, computers, etc. Pick up an information sheet at the welcome center or contact Robin Yeldell @ 214-207-4826 for more information. Christmas Poinsettias Each year during Advent our stage is decorated with Poinsettias. These Poinsettias can be purchased in honor of/in memory of a family member or friend. Tuesday Ladies Bible Class Ladies Bible Class will resume on Tuesday, February 6. Please remember in prayer: Randy Patterson had shoulder surgery on Wednesday.Johnny Murrey, who is continuing his treatments, Jeannie Marchant, Jane Stephens, Joe Cox (Larry’s Dad), Ryelee Burris (who has been in the hospital to find out why she cannot breathe right. and Patti Koleszar. Valerie Smith has had one surgery on a large kidney stone. Please pray this second one will be completely successful. Kaufman Christian Help Center’s Needs Canned Meat, spaghetti & sauce, Toilet paper, paper plates, cups, napkins, paper towels & toilet paper.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY – Nursery - 6th Grade
No Children’s Worship due to the Christmas Program today. Shepherds and wise men will be dismissed to their parents after they perform. Their costumes can be left in the pews. Angels and Followers of Jesus will exit to the room off the foyer, take off their costumes and then join their families for the rest of the service.

Christmas Party TONIGHT!!! – In the Teen Room from 6-9pm! Dress Festive and bring $10 for our Angel Tree gifts. Dinner will be provided.
Wednesday - After School Break Time doors open at 4pm and the Van picks up at KJH & KHS after school. Come hang out, play games or do homework. Pizza is served at 6pm for $3 and includes a soda
-The Tonight Show – SEASON 1 FINALE! With Special Guest Doug Page! We will close out the show with a game of EGG RUSSIAN ROULETTE!
Winter Retreat DEADLINE TODAY!!! Also in need of some Adult Volunteers (cooking, leading small groups, games and activities) Talk to Chris if you are interested in serving. We will leave Sunday December 31 (after worship) and return home Monday night January 1.
