Our mission funds help supports Ricky Gootam in Kakinada India. Ricky works with orphans, widows, lepers and as an evangelist in Kakinada and surrounding villages. He encourages and supports 200 preachers who each have four congregations they minis- ter. These preachers reach their congregations on a bicycle. Ricky says they bike about 15 miles per Sunday sharing the gospel. Our continued support of missions helps spread God’s word. Thank You . . . Speaking Sunday, April, 8 Ricky is Coming! Our mission funds help supports Ricky Gootam in

Kakinada India. Ricky works with orphans, widows, lepers and as an

evangelist in Kakinada and surrounding villages. He encourages and

ter. These preachers reach their congregations on a bicycle. Ricky

NEWS AND NOTES Nursery Needs: For those with small babies or toddlers, attended nurseries are available.

Ages birth to 24 months will be in the nursery at the end of the east hallway. Attend-ants Elyse & Derrick Tharp.

Two and three-year-olds will be in room 208. Attendants are Robyn & Derrick Da-vies

Men’s Bible: Join us on Tuesday, April 3 to study from the book of Genesis. Ladies Bible Class: Ladies Class will resume meeting Tuesday, April 3, at 10:00 a.m. Shelia Sampson will present the lesson, “Living as Those Made Alive; Colossians 3:1-17.” All Adult Bible Classes: Sunday, April 8, all adult Bible classes will meet in the fel-lowship hall for a combined class. Ricky along with Jimie-Wray, will help with the 10:15 Worship Service in the auditorium. Prayers Requests:

Kay Porter is home recovery from surgery.

Louise King is suffering with pneumonia.

Whitney Pratt, Sharbee Horne’s sister, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer .

She continues to need prayers as well as her family

NEW BABY BOY Congratulations to Aaron & Mandy Lewis on the birth of their third

little boy, Hayes, who was born Tuesday, March 27. He weighed 9

pound 4 ounces and was 22 inches long. Mom and baby are doing

well. Tom and Paula Lewis are the proud grandparents.

NEW BABY GIRL Congratulations to Sam & Emily Emerson on the birth of their

daughter, Molly, who was born Wednesday, March 28. She weighed

8 pound 1 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Mom and baby are do-

ing well.

Special Olympics needs our help.

We are looking for 30 people of

all ages that would be willing to

volunteer during the day time

hours on Thursday, May 17, 8

a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday,

May 18, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Our group will

be responsible for helping organize and lead an

“easy game” that will be played in Boone Pick-

ens Stadium. Kids with special needs will be

coming to our “Home

Town” of Stillwater from all

over Oklahoma. If you can

help with 1 day or just a few

hours or both days, your

help would be greatly appre-

ciated. We can make a huge

difference in the lives of these young people.
