Tim Tinsley Isaiah 49:15, Jeremiah 31:3, 1 John 4:10, & 1 John 4:19 Pastor: Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. People: e LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you. Pastor: In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. People: We love because He first loved us. Affirmation of Faith (To be read responsively) Elder Steve Hawkins Luke 10:27-28 & John 3:16 Leader: And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And He said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.” People: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Confession of Sin (To be read responsively) Elder Steve Hawkins Luke 15:7 & Psalm 103:11-12 Leader: Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. People: For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His steadfast love toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions from us.
