With more than 15 years of experience in cannabis cultivation and over 25 years in organic farming, we have learnt that plants are a lot like humans. Why is the entourage effect important?Empowering well-being

In cannabis science, the entourage effect is the synergistic inter-action of cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes and fatty acids naturally present in cannabis, leading to better therapeutic effects. To ensure the entourage effect and the associated health benefits, we only produce full and broad spectrum CBD oils. Our full spectrum oil is characterised by a low THC content, which is below 0.2% in the EU and below 1% in Switzerland.

We guarantee transparency and consistency in our product ingre-dients. Every production batch is subject to a detailed analysis in our in-house laboratory. Simultaneously we send the same batch to an independent accredited laboratory which performs a high precision, high accuracy and in compliance with good laboratory practice analysis.

Due to our long-standing know-how in organic cultivation, production and development as well as the use of state-of-the-art technologies, we are able to maintain the full potential of the hemp plant‘s benefits throughout the entire production process. For our broad spectrum extract, we remove THC by flash chroma-tography, preserving all active plant ingredients that are healthy for the organism, such as cannabinoids, terpenes and aromatic compounds.

Why a water soluble CBD?Higher bioavailability and more effectiveness

Bioavailability defines the extent and speed at which a substance enters the bloodstream. With conventional oils, this happens to a limited extent. With ALPINOLS Aqua the bioavailability is higher than 90%. The full spectrum extract is micellised, meaning the lipophilic particles are covered with a fine coat. The principle is based on the bonding of the substances and the coating combines itself with fat on the inside and with water on the outside. The ingenious effect is that the active ingredients are protected, enabling them to easily enter the body in a direct form.

How it works?Patented technology

The human body naturally produces its own micelles for the digestion of fat. As this process is energy and time-consuming, most of the important active ingredients are not absorbed. With the help of micelle technology the fat-soluble substances are combined to form a water soluble shell. Terpenes are natural molecules that we perceive as aroma substances. Hemp extract is also rich in terpenes, which have many positive and health-promoting properties for humans. The endocannabinoid system and anatomy of a cat and a human are very different since cats cannot break down terpenes or can do so only after a long time. This is why we recommend products from safe production and with the appropriate quality and certification for long-term treatments.

Our CBD products for Pets are specially made to meet the needs of dogs and cats. The SOS spray for stressful situations and the salmon-flavoured oil complement our classic oils for animals. 25 years of organic cultivationFor more than 15 years we have been growing hemp on our fields and in our greenhouse near Fribourg/Switzerland using only the purest biological methods. We harvest by hand and under strict Bio Suisse guidelines.

Full entourage effect The gentle CO

2 extraction is made in-house,

just a few steps from the field. The extraction is made without any heat to avoid the destruction of valuable cannabinoids, terpenes and flavo-noids. For the broad spectrum we remove THC. In addition, for the cats CBD oil, terpenes are also removed.

Hand-picked harvesting To create our oil, we hand-pick our hemp at the optimum time of the plant’s lifecycle by only selecting the best leaves of the plant. We don‘t waste anything and we are 100% sustainable. The stems and the leaves that are discarded are utilised in our production as fertiliser.

Independent quality assurance Trust and transparency are top priorities for us. We analyse every batch in our in-house laboratory and simultaneously send a sample to a certified, independent lab. All the analysis are also available online.
