The purpose of an Organimetric is to help align and harness leaders, teams and organisations in a way that drives productivity and business results.

The GC Index® Organisation Impact Map (OIM) empowers companies to quickly analyse their entire organisations.

The OIM provides the insight into how each individual and business entity in an organisation makes an impact relative to their ‘unique’ combination of The GC Index® proclivity strengths: Strategist, Game Changer, Play Maker, Implementer, Polisher.

It is then used to understand the current level of performance and alignment in an organisation and identify areas and relationships in the organisation that can be improved to drive better outcomes to take the company to the next level.

OiM PrOCEss

stEP 1:

Executive sponsors and team leaders each complete the individual GC Index® proclivities profile. The one-on-one discussions with an accredited GCologist will be tailored to provide insights beyond the individual’s results, to best prepare the leadership team for the OIM process and outcomes.

stEP 2:

Decide which business entities to include. A business entity could be a team, department, division, the whole company, function, level, region, country, etc. It could be the ‘as is’ entity or you could choose to model ‘what if’ groupings of individuals.

stEP 3:

Notify the individuals. The executive sponsor communicates the background of the OIM programme and sets out the scope of the OIM programme and requests that everyone complete their survey within 24 hours of receiving their survey link. Depending on the desired view an employee could be assigned multiple business entities (e.g. a department and a level).

stEP 4:

Each ‘in scope’ person is then sent a link so that they can complete The GC Index® (5-10 minutes).

stEP 5: As soon as the employees have responded, the Business Entity profiles are created for each business entity, including the team leader and anonymised profiles of the other individuals in that business entity. A view of all the business entities involved in the OIM is also created.

stEP 6: Once the Organisation Impact Map is completed you will work with your GCologists to overlay your key business objectives and business challenges. You can drill down into the relevant parts of the organisation to make more informed business decisions that resolve challenges and improve business productivity. i.e. How well does my Innovation group connect their new products with the wider organisation? We have a less than optimal project completion rate across our business? What does this tell me about the best performing parts of my organisation and what can I learn?

FinE tUnE YOUr rECrUitMEnt by a thorough understanding of the real gaps in your teams across the organisation. MOvE PEOPlE arOUnd in YOUr OrganisatiOn on the basis of a solid understanding of where they can make their biggest impact and best contribution.
