Leaderships Initiative Sent e-mails asking for feedback.(McAllister, 2004) Sat in on group planning times to discuss with gradelevels on progress of wave schedule.(Anderson, 2010)How are things going in your opinion? 10. Resistors- K-2Classroom teachers.(Gandz, 2008) 3-5 Classroom teacherspoint of view. Encore teachers point ofview. Support staffs point ofview.Resistance is a reaction to the emotions being broughtup by uncertainty and fear. (Bligh, n.d.) 11. Brought to the Table K-2 teachers offered a change of Encore timesthroughout the day. 3-5 teachers were ok with that change happening. Encore teachers felt that the time they had would beeven more ineffective. Support staff would have to completely redo allschedules. 12. Evaluation of Change Areas done well by leadership: Communication regarding implementation. Sitting down to hear concerns and consider feedback. Areas needing improvement: Allowing more time for change to take effect. 13. Conclusion Leadership has showed themselves to be capable andeffective. Leadership has used many forms of communicationduring the change process. Leadership is continuously reminding us of the purposefor the change. Leadership seems to be evaluating and thinking aheadto changes in the schedule in years to come. 14. References Anderson, D. L. (2010).
