OUTREACH ACTIVITIES ORGANIZED BY IBA KARACHI IN DIFFERENT DISTRICTS OF BALOCHISTAN

From November 5-9, 2016 and November 13-25, 2016

IBA Karachi organized an outreach activity in coordination with OGDCL Pakistan to conduct information, awareness and career counseling sessions with the aim of encouraging the talented & deserving students, of HSSC Level-I and HSSC Level-II belonging from different districts of Balochistan, to pursue higher studies. We briefed them about the scholarship opportunity provided by OGDCL Pakistan and IBA Karachi in the form of OGDCL Balochistan Talent Hunt Program. We are pleased to share that we have successfully organized 32 (thirty two) information & awareness sessions in the respective colleges of Balochistan from November 5-9, 2016 & November 13-25, 2016. During the outreach activities, we have targeted 16 districts of Balochistan and 3067 students have attended our sessions in all the below mentioned districts.

The main objective of the above outreach activity was to create awareness about the opportunities available for the talented and deserving students of Matric, HSSC Level-I and HSSC Level-II, who are facing financial constraints. IBA team representative Syed Rizwan Ali Bukhari (Assistant Manager- Talent Hunt Programs) have conducted the information & awareness sessions in different colleges and briefed the students about the IBA Karachi and OGDCL- Balochistan Talent Hunt Program with the focus on;

We hope that these institutes will take the initiative and become a part of the community outreach program launched by the leading business university, Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, to revolutionize education and champion it for all, without any form of discrimination.
