Grand Rapids 1st Bike Summit:On April 24, 2009 cyclists will gather to take action towards making Grand Rapids a Bicycle Friendly Community
Why doesnt Grand Rapids have bike lanes?
What can be done to encourage cycling for transportation and recreation?
How should cars and bikes share the road?
What will it take to be bike-friendly, like Chicago and Ann Arbor?
Bike Grand Rapids, a community coalition of citizens and organizations interested in
designating Grand Rapids as a League of American Bicyclists (LAB) Bicycle Friendly
Community has announced the first Grand Rapids Bicycle Summit. The Summit will
be held at the Grand Valley State University Loosemore Auditorium on April 24, 2009,
8:00am to 4:00pm. All citizens are encouraged to participate in this free event
