Stay in ControlOrion assist with energy savings, thus improving your green initiatives while ensuring guest comfort. Depending on your properties HVAC requirements, there are several components that may be necessary.

System components � Orion thermostat

Wall mounted intuitive digital room temperature controllers for ease of use.

The thermostats controls the A/C and communicates with the motion sensor1 and door switch to set the room temperature.

Orion Thermostat - Original - LV is only compatible with low voltage.

� Orion motion sensor

With Orion's motion sensor, the guest presence is detected and signals are sent to the thermostat which controls the A/C. During occupancy the A/C will run on guests temperature preferences. As the guest leaves the room, the hotel preferences will take over and turn the room into a so-called standby mode. As the room always will have a stable temperature, energy consumption and costs are reduced.

� Orion door switch

With an additional door switch, the Orion solution in communication with motion sensor and thermostat, determine room status change and whether or not the guest is in the room.

Installation alternativesDepending on what your property is in need of, Orion offers several installation alternatiaves

� 1. Offline installation

A standalone Orion solution where the thermostat , motion sensor and door switch communicates only inside the room. The thermostat, together with the motion sensor and door switch, determine the guest occupancy and take control of room temperature based on the presence of the guest.

� 2. Wireless online EMS with Orion software

Installation with Orion online software where motion sensor communicates with the thermostat via wireless RF in which communicates with gateways. The gateways are connected to the property's ethernet .

� 3. Wireless online EMS with VISIONLINE by VingCard

Online installation where Orion software is integrated with VISIONLINE by VingCard. You get total control of EMS, VingCard locks and Elsafe safes in one single system. Motion sensor and lock communicates with thermostat to VingCard Elsafe Zigbee network, via gateways and to the VISIONLINE server.
