LEJEUNE-class
TROOP TRANSPORTSLeJeune-class starships were first introduced in 2275
following the destruction of Starbase 27. This class vessel
has served Starfleet in transporting and deploying Starfleet
Marines throughout Federation space. The type of ship
can transport up to 10,000 Starfleet Marines under
emergency conditions, but usually provides transportation
for 4,000 or less as needed.

of distant star systems, interstellar phenomena and
surveying class M planets detected by long-range sensor
probes.

Excelsior-class
DEEP SPACE EXPLORERSExcelsior-class starships were first introduced in 2284 as “The Great Experiment,”
meaning that the vessel was to have been equipped with transwarp drive. While
the drive simply didn’t deliver the velocities hoped for, it was an improvement over
the speed records of the Constitution-class, and the stability of the design, the long-
range capability of the starship, and the extreme maneuverability (despite the
seemingly gangly design), resulted in this starship class (and its Enterprise variant)
replacing the aging Constitution-class fleet.

DEEP SPACE EXPLORERS
Constellation-class
Enterprise-VariantEnterprise-variant starships, based on the successful Excelsior-class, were firstintroduced in 2294. They are deep space explorers in that they can operate formany years without resupply or repair at a starbase. Many of these ships wereinvolved in the exploration of the galactic rim and the Beta quadrant.

During the Kelvan War, this class of vessel was
responsible for most of the repairs to starships which
allowed them to continue their operations following a major
battle. Following the war, they were used to repair most of
the crippled starships in Starfleet as well as perform

Angler-class starships were first introduced in 2275. These
small vessels are designed for system police patrol duty
and pirate interdiction. They are heavily armed, featuring

This vessel has served Starfleet in transporting containers
within Federation space, especially when transport-tugs
are unavailable due to the demands of long-range

are more than capable of transporting containers from one
