ormer Pastor Dies At Daughter's Horne

Funeral services for the Rev. Roy Leppard, 62, former pastor

of the Maxton First ~st church, were held Saturday in Co-lumbia, S. C. at Thompson Funeral Home. Interment was in Columbia.

Mr. Leppard, who had been ill for sometime, lived in Manteo,, where his wife is teaching. He had gone to Columbia to visit his daughter, Helen, now Mrs. Preston) Callesson, when he died unexpect-edly. He is also survived by his l wife and another daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Colin of Washington,/ D. C.

Rev. Leroy D. Leppard. Nags Head, former pastor of the Green Hill and Piedmont Baptist churches ln Ruther!ord and o -umbus Baptist church in Polk county, died at the home of a dau ghter, Mrs. Preston Callison in West Columbia, S. C. Thursday morning at 12:15 a.m.

A native of Greenville. S. C. Mr. Leppard held pastorage~ in both :'\orth and South Carolina and made hl home in Rutherford county for several years. He a retired na\'al chaplain.
