It is owned by the City of New York, and maintained and operated by Friends of the High Line, the non-profit conservancy responsible for maintaining and operating the High Line in partnership with the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, and raising private funding to support more than 90% of the park’s annual operations. Mullen, Jr., with additional funding provided by the Concordia Foundation, and Vital Projects Fund, Inc.
