2. Spring Jazz Night! On Wednesday May 6, O.P.P.S. will be hosting our annual evening Spring Arts Night. This evening will be
an opportunity for families to come to our school to see our student’s art work, as well as showcases of
our Jazz Week activities. The following extra-curricular groups will be performing in the gym (Primary
Choir, Primary Dance Club from Jazz Week, Junior-Intermediate Musical Theatre Club, Junior Dance
Team, Tamil Heritage Dance Group & the Intermediate Band). Performances begin at 6:30 p.m. in the
gym and all students performing will need to be in their assigned meetings rooms at their designated
time.
We hope to see you there!

The Latcham Gallery "Young at Art " exhibition is being held from May 7-16, at the gallery on Main St in
Stouffville. A variety of artworks created by our students will be on display. Students involved will

Country Club.
6. Are you Moving?
Please notify the school office if you will be moving and will not be at Oscar Peterson Public School
in September. That would greatly help us out with our planning for next September. Thank you in
advance for your cooperation.
7. EQAO
The Grade 3 & 6 EQAO testing is coming. It is very important that students attend school on these days and we ask parents not to schedule appointments during these times so that children can be at school for the entire EQAO testing. Thank you for your cooperation. Grade 3 & 6 testing will be from May 25-June 4.
Please take the time to read the attachments to this e-Bulletin. They provide information regarding
school and community initiatives.
