The new compact units have been con-sistently designed as modules. The basisis the self-cleaning separator type OSD.

It is installed on a common base framewith all necessary supervisory equip-ment. The next step is the process con-trol module. Then follows the sludgetransfer module, pre-heater module andfeed pump module.The modular design is also implementedin separation systems for oily sludgesand for bilge water. Also, the integrationwith the new Visco Booster Unit (VBU)product line, including standardized con-trol systems, Plate Heat Exchangers andFresh Water Generators has been intro-

duced to the market.
