Course DescriptionsALTERNATIVE CASE RESOLUTION SEMINAR (ACRI) CLASS - This 2.5 day seminar will teach the students all about MSHA’s Alternative Case Resolution Initiative. At the completion of the course, you will be better equipped to handle your citation case and participate in the ACRI process without legal counsel. Price: $625.00ACRI-MASTER CLASS - *This class is designed for all those who have previously taken our ACRI Seminar. Take your ACRI Training to the next level! Discover new ways to present arguments and alternate ways to support your documentation. Continue your education of the ACRI process and arguments while networking with others who have been in the same situations. Price: $425.00DEFENSIVE DRIVING - This course provides tips and techniques on how to reduce risk through proper management of visibility, time, and space, how to handle emergencies, and driver and passenger safety. Refresh your driving skills and learn preventative techniques for collision avoidance. Licensed drivers receive a certificate upon completion that can lower portions of their insurance premium by up to 10% for 3 years, as well as take up to 4 points off of their driving record for moving violations within the last 18 months. Price: $55.00FIRST AID/CPR/AED TRAINING - “This course is designed for participants needing recertification.” These classes will provide participants with First Aid/CPR and AED training that will supersede the mandatory training required under OSHA and MSHA regulations. Price: Full Course $125.00, CPR/AED Only $75.00MSHA ANNUAL REFRESHER - This seminar fulfills a minimum of 7 hours of credit toward the Annual refresher Training required of all operators by the Mine Safety and Health Act. Price: $99.00OSHA 10 CONSTRUCTION - This 1.5 day course will consist of: Safety & Training Provisions; Occupational Health and Environmental Controls; Personal Protective & Life Saving Equipment; Fire Protection; Electrical; Confined Space Entry; Hand and Power Tools; Scaffolding; Floor and Wall Openings; Stairway and Ladders; Material Handling; Excavation and Trenching. Price: $150.00OSHA 10 GENERAL INDUSTRY - This 1.5 day course covers OSHA policies, procedures and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. OSHA 29 CFR 1910 subparts are explored along with pertinent recordkeeping and program requirements. Price: $150.00OSHA 30 GENERAL INDUSTRY - The OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety training program designed for anyone involved in general industry. Specifically designed for safety directors, foremen, and supervisors; the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues. In addition to learning about safety and health hazards in the workplace, students learn about OSHA, employer responsibilities, and worker rights. Students will also learn about hazard recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention. Price: $675REASONABLE SUSPICION TRAINING FOR DRUGS AND ALCOHOL - DOT Regulations Part 382.603 requires that all persons designated to supervise operators of commercial motor vehicles who hold CDL’s receive at least 2 hours of training on alcohol misuse and controlled substance use. Supervisors should use this training to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require a driver to submit for testing. Price: $75.00 (Course held at the Albany Hampton Inn)RIGGING - At completion of training the participant will be able to estimate center of gravity for symmetric loads, understand hitch types, their correct application and to select the most applicable sling type, its size and the hitch configuration required to lift the load safely. Identify requirements for inspection/removal criteria for all synthetic, wire rope and alloy chain slings as well as inspection/removal criteria for shackles, eyebolts, swivel hoist rings, rigging hooks, turnbuckles, rings, links and swivels. This course can be used as an employer qualification course if the employer wants to use it as such. Ron Witt is recognized as a rigging expert trainer and is NCCCO certified in rigging and signalperson. Price: $190.00
