Other SectionsUse as needed to enhance and strengthen the resume.Target things that show involvement, leadership and your ability to be successful.
On your resume, you will add other sections as you feel they add to your overall experience. Do not add a section unless you feel like it makes a strong contribution. Examples of other sections may include: Campus & Community Involvement, Athletics, Community Service, Research & Presentations, Leadership Experience and Honors/Activities. You may add other sections as well to individualize the resume and highlight your strengths.1Other SectionsCampus & Community ActivitiesAthleticsCommunity ServiceResearch/PresentationsLeadership ExperienceHonors/ActivitiesProfessional Development
Things to RememberResume should be one page.Keep it concise.
Unless you resume is for graduate school, or you have significantly more experience than others, your resume should be one page. You will have an opportunity to go into more detail on the cover letter, so be brief and concise. Order your categories making your strongest categories first. You can also collapse certain categories into other headings. For example, if you are on the deans list, that can go under Honors or under Education. This section can be set up however you would like; with bullets or in paragraph form.3
