Amendments

In consideration of all the activities in the area of Communications as well as Marketing, the Board recommends splitting the role of VP, Communications & Marketing and Special Events into two distinct roles.

By-law 6, Section 5 needs to be amended to reflect only the role of VP

The Vice President Communications is responsible for the timely dissemination of information both to and from the Chapter membership, using appropriate means to accomplish the objective and is also responsible for the promotion of the local Chapter and IIBA to internal and external publications.  They are also responsible for maintaining the content of the Chapter's website.

By-law 6, Section 6: The responsibilities of the VP, Marketing and Special Events is being split out and inserted immediately after proposed amendment (a) above

The Vice President Marketing and Special Events is responsible for the delivery of programs relating to business analysis for each scheduled Chapter meeting.  The content of these programs is to be consistent and in accordance with the objectives of the Chapter and with approval of the Chapter Board.  The program consists of both Chapter meetings and Special Events.  In addition, they will be responsible for the promotion of the Chapter using various marketing materials.

By-law 6, Sections 1 and 2: The table, in each of these sections, needs to be updated to reflect the split roles as defined in Bylaw Amendments (a) and (b) above.
