Traditional Slovak CraftsBeekeeping

The aim of an expedition was to learn about traditionalSlovak crafts and especially about beekeeping. Childrenwatched a short film about bees, they learned how tobehave and react when the bees are near. They had anopportunity to explore the premises where honey isproduced, to taste different types of honey, and thenthey were making candles from the beeswax.

Every partnership country suggested logo which wouldspecify the idea of our project Friendship of Dances
in a best way. Voting took place in January and
in a really strong competition our Slovak design won.

Our Dictionary
November, December 2013
We agreed about the choice of the wordswhich we include into a minidictionaryin English and national languages. Each schoolrecorded a video to convey the correctpronunciation. It was interesting to followa similarity of some words.
