Our Annual
Fishy Bingo
Fun for all
Prizes!
www.neo-fish.com
Hey Gang,
Well its time this month for our midsummer fun, our annual Fishy Bingo night. We will not
be having a speaker, but we will be having other normal club activities.
For those of you who don’t know, everyone who attends the meeting will be given 1 bingo
card. For each bag of fish you bring you will be given 2 more cards. We will be playing
mostly single bingo’s and the winner of each game will get to go to a table and pick out a bag
of fish of their choice. The only restriction is that when bringing fish, please don’t bring a bag
with just 1 fish that you want to get rid of. Bring something good, pair, bag of fry, group,
anything that you yourself might like to win. If bringing fry we ask that they be 1” in length
and there be 5 or 6 in the bag. We also ask that there be no equipment or food as this is
fish only. Hopefully everyone will bring something as the more bags and the more members
the more fun everyone has.
I would like to thank Rich Grassnig for his talk about the LED lights he builds. Hopefully we
can put together a night (Probably November) at our members night we can set it up where
everyone can order what they need to build lights and we make part of the evening a
workshop. We will continue looking at this and see where it goes.
See all of you Friday night, bring some fish and get ready for fun.
That’s it for now. See you at the meeting.

The Northeast Ohio Fish Club (fish) is an all species Fish club
in Northeast Ohio. We pride ourselves in being a progressive club offering all our members not only the
normal fish club programs, but others like individual e-mail addresses, club member websites, spawning
con-tests, aquarium decorating contests workshops, road trips and more. Our goal is to make every
meeting exciting, educational and leaving you with the feeling that you can’t wait until the next meeting.
Look at our website and see if this club isn’t the club you have been looking for. If you already belong to a
club, that’s okay, think about making us your second club and come enjoy the fun.
Both www.neo-fish.org and www.neo-fish.com show the same website.
As always, the Northeast Ohio Fish Club (NEOfish)
holds monthly meetings in Independence, Ohio on the 3rd Friday of every month. Meetings are at:
Independence United Methodist Church
6615 Brecksville Road
Independence, OH 44131
There is no smoking on Church Grounds or littering of cigarette butts on nearby properties.
8:00p.m. to 10:00p.m. (Christmas Party starts at 7:00p.m.)
Everyone interested is invited to attend. NEOfish is an all species club, such as Betta, Guppies, Tetras,
Barbs, Cichlids etc.
The Board meets before the general meeting at 7:00p.m. at the church as well. Even though you’re not on
the board, your are still welcome to sit in on the meeting. You would not have a vote but you certainly
could share some input. Per our Constitution and By-Laws, this is also the appropriate time and place to
air any concerns about the club. It would be helpful to first contact a board member to discuss the issue
but if you feel that the whole board needs to hear it then feel free to attend.

Announcements
(cont.) Breeder Award Program (BAP)
Well, Well, Well it seems June was a really good
month! We had 39 spawns with many new fish!
We also had 2 or 3 members submit fish that
had not participate. They were Charlie Suk and
Bill & Jan Bilski. This came as a complete surprise
since they have all been here from the start and I
assumed they had already submitted fish, but the
program we use to keep records and file the re-
port told me "OH NO YOU DON'T" when I
tried to put them in because they were not al-
ready in the program. WELCOME!!!
It was brought to my attention that someone did
not get credit for something they turned in. If
this ever happens PLEASE see me. I may have just
over looked it when I was entering the new sub-
missions or they might have been signed in on
the AUCTION sheet. It is often hectic when
things are being signed in and it could easily hap-
pen. I only receive copies of the BAP & HAP
sheets but if there is a problem I can get Debbie
to check the auction list. That said it might not
get fixed instantly but it will be fixed!
HAP
We had 2 submissions both by George Hollister
and sadly we had not had any since JANUARY!
Come on folks!
Lastly, MANY MANY THANKS to Bill King for
all his help every month and I will have certifi-
cates for the last few months. I don't know
what Brian still had to print and I have made
arrangements to pick them up because Brian
will be speaking at the Youngstown Club
Meeting. I am sorry for the delay.
Cheers,
John

Ken’s Fish Membership Buys
Hi Guys and Gals,
We have a lot of new members as well as some of our long standing members that might not
know about this membership program. Every month we order supplies for our monthly auc-
tions from Ken’s and it was decided to include members so they can save on shipping as well as
the club and not have to spend $75 to get free shipping. We do not get any other type of dis-
count and the club makes absolutely no money from this. This is just a small perk for being a
member. April we had member’s order totaling over $400.
You just go to the Ken’s Fish Website kensfish.com , figure out what you want and send it to
[email protected] The deadline to get your order in is the Sunday before the meeting
so that we can have the order back in time for the meeting. Payment needs to be done by the
meeting when you pick up your items.
If you have any questions, you can direct them to the email [email protected]
