Our Curriculum Patience Perseverance Friendship Courage Curiosity What We Want for Our Pupils We want our pupils leave Threlkeld having acquired skills, talents, knowledge and a sense of their own uniqueness. We encourage all pupils to foster high aspirations and encourage positive self-esteem. We strive for our pupils to seek challenge in everything they do and understand that mistakes are vital learning experiences. We want our pupils to leave our school secure in the knowledge that they can achieve anything they wish.

P.E. Long Term Plan

At Threlkeld we believe in the power of learning in the outdoor to enhance physical and mental wellbeing. So in addition to the weekly P.E. sessions detailed below we also deliver a thriving

outdoor learning curriculum. One take part in weekly outdoor learning activities in and around our amazing local environment. Class Two and Three work with Keswick Adventure Centre

during the Autumn and Summer Terms developing their physical wellbeing, perseverance, teamwork and knowledge of the outdoors. Activities include raft building, paddle boarding,

canoeing, orienteering, problem solving and map reading.
