TEACHER: Pastor Jason Van Wyk SCRIPTURE: Amos 5:21-24 SUMMARY: Even as we conclude our series on Outreach, Discipleship, and Worship its important to remember that we are not done focusing on these things. Not as individuals and not as a church. Each of these areas are so important for those who follow Jesus that they should infuse every aspect of our lives. As we study Amos 5, well see how worship MUST be about more than just songs and more than just Sunday. DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: What does worship look like beyond singing? What does it look like beyond Sunday? How does who God is impact other areas of your life in a way that brings Him praise? What is a new way that you could try to worship God holistically this week? LIFE APPLICATION: Mon: Find one tangible way to worship a just God through pursuing justice in our world. Tues: Bring Honor to God's righteousness by seeking right living in your own life. Wed: Worship our God who is, in His very nature, love by showing love to another person. Thurs: Worship the God who sees by opening your eyes to notice and love those who are often overlooked. Fri: Worship the God who heals by praying with or for someone who is sick. Sat: Worship our Creator by caring for His creation. Sun: Worship our Merciful Savior by forgiving someone who has hurt or wronged you. NOTES:
