SATECH has been in the Instrumentation and Controls industries for over 14 years.

Originally named S.A. Controls Pte Ltd, it was subsequently re-named S.A.Technologies

Pte Ltd (SATECH) to suit the company plan to move into technologies development.

Over the years SATECH Group has forged strong relationships with various customers

worldwide, having worked closely with them from the initial FEED study right up to the

start-up and commissioning stage.

SATECH has provided its products and services to Oil and Gas Industry throughout the

Asia Pacific region, Middle East and United States. It is also registered with many Oil

Company under their AVL; such as ONGC India, Shell Malaysia, Shell China, Shell

Philippines, Talisman, etc.

SATECH abilities to provide solutions to its customer has secured numerous contracts

for turnkey projects from project procurement until commissioning works. Control

As part of our commitment to the industry to constantly improve our products

and services, we are always getting feedback from the market and developing

new technological products to drive us into the next century.

With our strong engineering background and an interest in advancing into the

tomorrow world, we are able to collaborate with a UK valve manufacturer to

develop new technological products that can operate flawlessly and also

eliminate many of the current problems faced when utilizing the existing system

that has been available for already more than a decade.

On special request, we can also develop valves that are of special requirements

which are not available in the industry. One of the examples is the development

of a High Differential Pressure Switching Valve which is rated for 10,000 psig

and can be submersible to a pressure range of up to 500 psig. This valve was

successfully developed on the request by Vetco Gray to be used in Deep Water

Riser Fill-up Valve application.

Through Satech subsidiaries, there has also been product development taking

place to in areas of drilling and also general industries.

In the drilling area, the establishment of TPM together with our partners in China

for the manufacturing of API Certified drilling equipment has put us in the supply

chain for the drilling industry on the supply of equipment like Traveling Hooks

Blocks, Crown Blocks, Rotary Table, Draw Works, etc… which have since seen

many installation and operation in many of the oil fields in China. To ensure the

product quality meets to API and other international standards, all equipment

manufactured has to go through a series of inspection and testing before it is

being delivered.

In the industrial area, with subsidiary Tech Offshore Fabricator, the development

of TRITEC certified junction boxes and enclosures has put the company into

being a product manufacturing company serving not only the Oil & Gas Industry

but also other industries which requires certified panels and enclosures. With the

assistance from BASEEFA, TRITEC is able to get its junction boxes and

enclosures ATEX certified for use in the hazardous environment.

For the last decade, Satech have noticed that there is a shortage in technically

qualified manpower to support the growing Oil & Gas industries. To target this problem, Satech manage to cooperate with ITE, a government supported technical

institute in Singapore, to train the students in terms of actual market requirement

so that they will be able to contribute to the industries immediately when they

completed their studies.

Other than training our next generation to be better, we also conduct training to

clients and suppliers that needs to update themselves.

Our training includes understanding of critical control system in a process point

of view, hands-on application on operation and maintenance of system

packages, servicing and testing of control valves, etc…

To move into the future standard requirement, we have recently introduce a new

course on API RP T-2 (Qualification Programs for Offshore Production

Personnel Who Work with Safety Devices) which provides guidelines for the

qualification of personnel engaged in installing, inspecting, testing, and routinely

maintaining surface and subsurface devices that are used to insure safety and

to prevent pollution during the production of oil and gas on offshore platforms.

The guidelines provide expected candidate performance levels, instructional

content and recommendations for testing. The guidelines are divided into

instructional and testing phases.

Enclosures

TRITEC ATEX certified stainless steel enclosures are designed for both

indoor and outdoor hazardous area application. Due to the stainless steel

material of construction, these enclosures are most suitable for use in

extreme harsh environment conditions and offshore application.

There are both lift-off cover and hinge door options available which both

Our facility includes an office space of 2000 sq

ft and a testing factory space of 1800 sq ft. For

projects which are high volume or requires an

extensive production area, we will have a

complete production and assembly area of

between 5000 – 10,000 sq ft to suit.

In conjunction to our factory space, our facility

will also consist of an air-conditioned mobile

engineering office container and a testing &

calibration workshop container equipped with

air compressor, pneumatic simulation kit,

hydraulic power unit, electrical simulation kit,
