Our greatest achievements have happened when we have been united,

Our greatest defeats have happened when we were divided”

Dear Parents,

Man is a social animal and it is important for him to stay together with his fellow beings in order to lead a peaceful

and fulfilling life. Two people are better than one, because they can reap more benefits from their labour! When we

come together and join hands, nothing will be impossible for us to accomplish. Taking this truth into consideration,

we have chosen the theme “Power of Togetherness” for the Summer Holiday Homework.

Togetherness can only be achieved by setting aside our own agendas in deference to others. This requires

overcoming our natural tendency towards self-absorption, noticing other people and trying to be sensitive to the

different realities of their lives. Countries or families which are not united eventually become weaker and lead to

disintegration.

Throughout the year LAKMS conducts a myriad of activities, celebrates various festivals across different religions

and organizes multiple value based assemblies in order to promote the essence of togetherness amongst the students

and to make them understand the importance of staying united to achieve their goals and emerge successful in life.

We earnestly request you to be a part of our endeavour and encourage your wards to realize the significance of

‗Power of Togetherness‘.

“I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things.”

I wish you all an enjoyable summer break!
