Poland is a country of 1000-year-old history,
rich traditions and cultural heritage. The
legacy of centuries that includes monuments of
architecture and masterpieces of art is perfectly combined
with Polish nature and its original landscapes. Millions of tourists visit
Poland every year.
This historic city with old walls and numerous museums used to be a king 's residence and
a center of civilizationspreading culture all over
Poland. Here is the Wawel – the seat of Polish kings and the place of their coronations;
StMary’s Church with its famous change by Veit Stoss; the Main
Market Square – the largest medieval town square inEurope; Kazimierz – a unique district of
Kraków that used to be a separate Jewish town; and the
Jagiellonian University– the oldest Poland’s college with its
famous Collegium Maius.
MAGIC CITY - KRAKÓW
One of Europe’s oldest factory enterprises in continuousoperation since the 13th century. The country’s
great resource of riches for centuries, it is now consideredto be one of the best-known
and most willingly visitedtourist attractions in Poland.
The tourist route is 3.5 kilometers long and leads
through over twenty chambers and chapels.
WIELICZKA SALT MINE
The scene of suffering of millions of people during World War II. The largest
Nazi concentration camp in German-occupied Europe. Here the Germans were carrying out their plan of killing the whole nations, mainly Jews and Poles.

BIAŁOWIEŻA NATIONAL PARK
The Białowieża Forest is a symbol of Poland’s natural wealth and
diversity. The international experts recognized its unique value and the
Białowieża National Park was included on
UNESCO’s World Heritage List as well
as on UNESCO’s List of World Biosphere Reserves.
The historic center of Warsaw is an exception on UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List. It’s the only urban complex
almost entirely reconstructed after the World War II total
destruction. The contemporary Warsaw is a big
city, Poland’s capital and its cultural, scientific, educational
and tourist center.

Old City of Zamość is located in the heart
of the city. In 1992 he was inscribed on the
UNESCO list.

TORUŃ
Toruń is a city widely known in Poland and also far beyond its borders all that thanks to the
great astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus and to the flavor of
the famous Torunian gingerbread as well as to the charm and character of one of
Europe’s most beautiful old towns. The Old Town of Toruń was included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1997.
Malbork Castle is one of the largest group of Gothic architecture in the world. Between
1309 to 1457 the castle in Malbork was the seat of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights.
In 1997 he was included in the UNESCO World
Heritage List.

KALWARIA ZEBRZYDOWSKAKalwaria ZebrzydowskaOne of Poland’s major
pilgrimage destinations. The whole complex of
chapels was built over the surrounding hills in the
unusual landscape of the Beskid Makowski. They all
form the Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Religious
and Landscape Park registered on UNESCO’s
World Cultural.
Churches of Peace in Jawor and
Świdnica are the largest wooden buildings of the
functions of religion in Europe. In 2001, they were inscribed
on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
CHURCHES OF PEACE IN JAWOR AND ŚWIDNICA
This southeastern region of Poland is full of medium-size
mountains and colourful landscapes. Here we can find wooden Orthodox and Roman-
Catholic churches perfectly fitted into their natural
environment. Some of these churches are several hundred
years old and six were inscribed on UNESCO’s World
Cultural Heritage List.
WOODEN CHURCHES OF MAŁOPOLSKA AND PODKARPACKIE
Occupying more than 1700 acres, it’s one of the largest
landscape parks in Europe. It area on both sides
of the Nysa Łużycka River that make the Polish-German state border. The larger part of the
park (over 1200 acres) is located on the Polish side,
while the German part occupies the neighborhood of
Bad Muskau (Mużaków).
MUSKAUER PARK
Centennial Hall - a sports hall located in the Park
Szczytnicki in Wroclaw. Built in the
years 1911-1913. In 2006 it was listed as a piece of
UNESCO World Heritage.
