Some people also like to recreate by visiting new places of our continent. We brought together and show you places, which we discovered while travelling through Europe. It is worth to spend holidays here. We were there, we checked and we strongly recommend it!

In Europe are many beautiful and mesmerising places to stay

on holidays.

You can relax by the sea, at lakes or in the mountains. Some people also like to recreate by visiting new places of our continent.

We brought together and show you places, which we discovered while travelling through Europe.

It is worth to spend holidays here.

We were there, we checked and we strongly recommend it!

Bulgaria – Nesebar - Ravda

Nesebar (Bulgarian: Несебър) is an ancient town and one of the major seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, located 3 km from Sunny Beach and 3 km from Ravda. Often referred to as the "Pearl of the Black Sea", Nesebar is a rich city-museum defined by more than three millennia of ever-changing history.

Ravda is a small seaside resort on the Black Sea, located 3 km from

Nesebar. Ravda's beaches have fine sand, sunshades are provided for

the tourists. There are several big hotels in Ravda and many private

rooms and small family hotels, as well as a great number of

restaurants, taverns, and disco clubs.

Croatia – Island Hvar

Croatia is a beautiful country surrounded by the Jadran Sea. There is

a beautiful island Hvar with lovely beaches. Hvar is popular with

pines, aroma lavender and rocky houses.

The town Hvar is the largest town on the island Hvar. There is a

castle, a marina with boats, many nice restaurants with delicious fish.

In Jelsa is an excellent ice cream and in the Svätá Nedelja you can buy

excellent wine from Hvar´s vineyards. There is also a good place for

jumping.

Spain - Valencia

Valencia is the third largest city in Spain. The city is situated on the

banks of the Turia. Its historic center is one of the largest in Spain,

this heritage of ancient monuments, diverse scenic sites and cultural

attractions makes Valencia one of the country's most popular tourist

destinations for Spain.

Xàbia -(Spanish: Jávea) is a coastal town located in the province of

Alicante, Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. Situated behind a wide

bay and sheltered between two rocky headlands, the town has

become a very popular small seaside resort and market town.

Beskids – Poland - Slovakia

The Beskids (Polish: Beskidy, Czech: Beskydy, Slovak: Beskydy) is a

name for a series of mountain ranges of Europe, stretching from the

Czech Republic in the west through Slovakia and Poland to Ukraine in

the east.

There are many tourist attractions, including historic wooden churches:

Wooden Churches of Southern Little Poland, Carpathian Wooden Churches of Slovakia, the increasingly popular skiing resorts.

Poland – Gdańsk

Gdańsk is a Polish city on the Baltic coast.

The city lies on the southern edge of Gdańsk Bay (of the Baltic Sea), in a conurbation with the city of Gdynia, spa town of Sopot, and suburban communities, which together form a metropolitan area called the Tricity (Trójmiasto).

The city has many fine buildings. Most tourist attractions are located along or near Ulica Długa (Long Street) and Długi Targ (Long Market), a pedestrian thoroughfare surrounded by buildings reconstructed in historical (primarily 17th century) style and flanked at both ends by elaborate city gates. This part of the city is sometimes referred to as the Royal Road as the former path of processions for visiting kings.

Poland – Masuria

We can also take a great rest by a lake. The most popular, among canoeists and sailors, place in Poland is Masuria - the land in north-eastern part of our country. It consists of about 4000 lakes and canals connecting them. The biggest are: Śniardwy and Mamry.

The system of canals connecting numerous lakes makes Masuria attractive to swimming lovers. We can also find there objects of sacral architecture, palaces and historic ruins, as well as kurgans.

Poland - Kołobrzeg

Kołobrzeg is a city in Middle Pomerania in north-western Poland. Kołobrzeg is located on the Parsęta River on the south coast of the Baltic Sea.

Kołobrzeg today is a popular tourist destination. It provides a unique combination of a seaside resort, health resort, an old town full of historic monuments and tourist entertainment options.

Kołobrzeg is also a regional cultural center. In the summer take place - a number of concerts of popular singers, musicians, and cabaters.

Poland - Międzyzdroje

Międzyzdroje is a town and a seaside resort in northwestern Poland on the island of Wolin on the Baltic coast.

It is called The Pearl of the Baltic. It is situated between wide sandy beaches with high cliffs and the forests of the Woliński National Park (which includes a bison reserve).

Międzyzdroje has a spa climate and is rich in tourist services.

Poland - Sopot

Sopot is a seaside town on the coast of the Baltic Sea in northern Poland.

It lies between the larger cities of Gdańsk and Gdynia. The three towns together making up the metropolitan agglomeration called Trójmiasto (Tri-City).

Sopot is a major health-spa and tourist resort destination. It has the longest wooden pier in Europe, at 515.5 metres.

Poland – Sudety

The Sudetes is a mountain range in Central Europe.

The Sudetes stretch from eastern Germany to Poland and the Czech Republic. The highest peak is Sněžka, (Polish: Śnieżka) in the Krkonoše (Polish: Karkonosze).

The Krkonoše Mountains have experienced growing tourism for winter sports during the past ten years. Their skiing resorts are becoming a budget alternative to the Alps.

Poland - Szczecin

Szczecin is the capital city of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. In the vicinity of the Baltic Sea, it is the country's seventh-largest city and the largest seaport in Poland. Szczecin is located on the Oder River, south of the Szczecin Lagoon and the Bay of Pomerania. The city is situated along the southwestern shore of Dąbie Lake, on both sides of the Oder and on several large islands between the western and eastern branches of the river.

Major cultural events in Szczecin are: Days of the Sea held every June. European Night of Museums Street Artists' Festival held every July.

Slovakia – Bratislava, Poprad

Bratislava is the capital city of Slovakia. It is the seat of the Slovak president and the parliament. It is home to several universities, museums, theatres, galleries and other important cultural and educational institutions. Poprad is a city in northern Slovakia at the foot of the High Tatra Mountains famous for its picturesque historic centre and as a holiday resort. It is the biggest town of the Spiš region.

Turkey – Ayvalık

Ayvalık is a seaside town on the northwestern Aegean coast of Turkey. It is a district of the Balıkesir Province.

Today, Ayvalık and the numerous islets encircling the bay area are popular holiday resorts. The most important and the biggest of these islets is Cunda Island (Alibey Island) that is connected to Lale Adasi, and thence to the mainland, by a bridge built in the late 1960s.

This is the first and currently the oldest surviving bridge in Turkey that connects lands separated by a strait.

Italy - Rome

Italy has a climate appropriate to its location and subtropical temperate zones. Summers are hot and winters generally mild. Italy is one of the famous resorts that welcome tourists from early summer to late autumn. There is nice, but variable weather in this period, in Italy. The capital city is Rome. Holidays and Italy belong together. The temperature of the air and water are not always constant as in other southern countries. All beaches on the east coast are full from June to September. Increases not only the popularity of the Ligurian but also of the clean lakes.

Italy - Venice

Venice, the capital of the Veneto region, is a beautiful city placed in northern Italy. It’s widely known for the beauty of its setting, architecture and artworks. The city consists of 118 small islands in the marshy Venetian Lagoon along the Adriatic Sea. Venice is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, because it’s considered to be one of the world's greatest and most beautiful cities of art.

Burano is an island placed in the Venetian Lagoon, in northern Italy. The city, situated near Torcello at the northern end of the Lagoon, is famous for its lacework and brightly coloured homes.
