Anointing of the sick If you foresee a surgery or procedure, contact the rectory to make arrangements to receive the Sacraments of the Anointing of the sick and Holy Communion before your hospital visit. Communion to the homebound For those unable to attend Mass due to illness or disability, arrangements can be made to receive Holy Communion weekly by an Extra Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Please contact the rectory. Emergencies In the event of an emergency, which requires the attention of a priest, please contact the rectory at any time. Follow the instructions on how to contact a priest. Please notify the rectory, so that the priests are aware of the situation and can assist as appropriate.

LIFE TEEN NEWS Our teens are selling donuts after the 11:00am Mass on Sundays. Proceeds benefit their Missions trip to Greensboro, NC, this summer.
OLC-ELC OLC-ELC will host an Open House this Thursday, March 9, from 6:30-7:30pm. Interested families can meet our staff and tour the classrooms. Children are always welcome! To schedule a personal tour, please call the office at 610-857-1163.

BEEF & BEER OLC-ELC will host it’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Beef & Beer fundraiser on Saturday, March 18, at 7:00pm at the SPC. Tickets are just $30/pp or $50 per couple. (BYOB) Purchase or reserve your tickets by contacting Janice Dagney at 610-857-0511. This is an adults only event.
Stations of the Cross Beginning this Friday, March 3, and continuing each Friday throughout Lent, we will have Stations of the cross at 7:00pm at Our Lady of Consolation. All are welcome. Reconciliation All are invited to attend the First Penance service on Sunday, March 5, at 7:00pm at the SPC. There will be several Priests available for confession during this time. If you have family members or friends who have wandered from the Catholic Church, please invite them to come home this Lent, and to experience God’s gift of healing through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. CAFÉ Lenten Scripture Study The Catholic Adult Faith Enrichment (CAFÉ) team is offering a Lenten Scripture Study on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:00pm in Classroom 1 at the SPC. The first class begins this Tuesday, February 28. Each week we review and discuss the readings for the upcoming Sunday Mass, using the “Opening the Word” program at the FORMED.org web site. Taking part in this study will help you gain more from Mass each week and help you apply God’s Word to your everyday life as you journey through Lent. If you are not able to join us you can participate in this study at home using the free account that is available to you through our parish subscription. There is no charge for this class and registration is not required. There is an optional prayer journal which you can purchase for $6.00, or we can send the document to you via email to view or print at your convenience.
