MISSIONARY APPEAL Fr. Tim Mulroy, a Columban Mis-sionary, will preach this weekend at all the Masses. Father Mulroy is originally from County Mayo, Ireland, and was ordained a Columban Priest in 1995. He spent 8 years on mission in Japan before moving to Chicago where he served as rector at the Columban

International Seminary for 9years. He was appointed US.S. Regional Director in 2012. Today Columban’s minister in fourteen different countries around the world. Despite Government restrictions on their life and ministry, the support the forgotten church in China. They administer among the deprived and downtrodden Catholics in Pakistan in spite of great personal risk. They sup-port the struggling church in Myanmar as that country emerges from decades of military dictatorship. They befriend the poor and forgotten in the Philippines and Peru. They encourage young people in various countries to become Columban priests and lay missionaries in order to continue spreading the Good News of God’s love for all humanity. Please be generous in our collection next weekend to support the good works of the Columban’s.

Dear Friends, As some of you may already know, we have no more English Mass Intentions for 2017. We are all booked up! If you would like a Mass Inten-tion for this year, we do have room with the Spanish Masses. Because we have so many Mass Intentions, Mass Intentions will be limited to three per person per year. Thanks for your understanding.

Again, another reminder that Father Sebastian will be here on Thursday, August 17th, to celebrate Mass with us. Father Sebastian was a close collaborator with Mother Theresa and founded the male branch of Mother’s group, the Missionaries of Charity. Because we expect a large crowd of people from all over the Bay Area, Mass that day will start at 10am. Hope to see you there. Have a Great Week! Father Brian
