NFP Awareness Week Begins July 24th, 2016: “Natural Fam-
ily Planning. Love, Mercy, Life. Opening the Heart of Mar-
riage” is the theme of this year’s Natural Family Planning
Awareness Week, a national educational campaign of the
United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to
celebrate God’s vision for marriage and promote the methods
of Natural Family Planning. The dates of Natural Family Plan-
ning Awareness Week are: July 24th – 30th, 2016. The slogan
for this year’s NFP Awareness Week was inspired by the Holy
Father’s call for a Jubilee Year of Mercy, a special time of
grace in the Church wherein all, including married couples and
families, are invited to open their hearts more fully to the un-
conditional love, mercy and life Christ and the Church offer us.
A schedule of local NFP classes can be viewed at:

Stewardship
“Ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and
the door will be opened to you.” Luke 11:9
Jesus assures us that if we ask Him, God will take care of what
we need. The problem is that in our culture we often confuse
what we really need with what we simply want. Many people
need very little. However, we usually want so much more. A
good steward only asks God for what he needs.
