“My child, remember that you received what was good
during your lifetime while Lazarus likewise received what
was bad; but now he is comforted here, whereas you are
tormented. Moreover, between us and you a great chasm
is established…” LUKE 16:25-26A
When God created the world He declared that it was
good and He gave it all to mankind for us to enjoy.
However, over the years we have created a chasm
between those who have great gifts and those who do
not. In today’s Gospel we see that with our own
Stewardship we must bridge that gap between those
who have much and those who have little or we may
find ourselves on the wrong side of the chasm in the
next life.

PERPETUAL ADORATION
We are about to celebrate the Feast of St. Michael and
the Holy Angels. We have our Lord Jesus, present
upon our altar in the Holy
Eucharist. In heaven God is
surrounded by loving, adoring
angels. We too can be among
those angels. By our presence
we are next to those mighty,
loving creatures of God who do
Him homage forever. Bring our
children to our Eucharistic Jesus
and teach them about their own
Guardian Angel who sees the
face of God everyday. Teach them to seek the help of
their personal angel and to thank God for giving them
such a mighty,
loving guardian.
