Father Emanuel Tanu SVD God is Good all the time! And all the time God is Good.

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Today we celebrate the fourth Sunday of Advent. Today’s gospel tells us that joy and happiness are contiguous. Mary was so happy for having baby Jesus in her womb, and out of joy - the Joy of her first

and visited Elisabeth her cousin. The gospel tells us that when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped for joy. You see, even John the Baptist was dancing with JOY in his mother’s womb for the first encounter with Jesus. And so, let the joy of the Lord be our strength and share that joy of Christmas with others as Marry did in today’s

someone. Let us learn as Mary did in today’s gospel to share our blessings, share our Joy with one another. May our Christmas celebration this year help us to be joyful and grateful people and let us share that joy with others during this Christmas season. As we are grateful this holy season for Our Good God who loved us so much that He gave his only begotten Son to be our Lord and Savior (John 3:16).

Thank

of the financial

support to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic church. I pray

with your generous giving.

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Pastoral and Finance councils, Décor committee, the Choir and our Musicians, Lectors and Extra Ordinary Ministers

children in our community this year. In short, I would like to thank each one of you who have helped out Our Lady Star of the Sea in so many ways that made our church, especially all Christmas preparations and celebra-tion this year so wonderful.

As your pastor Happy New
