    Russell K. GirlingPresident and Chief Executive Officer

    Mr. Girling has been President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since July 1, 2010. He has led TC Energy through a period of unprecedented growth, including the development of its Liquids Pipelines business, expansion of its power generation portfolio and the successful US$13 billion acquisition of Columbia Pipeline Group in July 2016.

    Previously, Mr. Girling held the positions of Chief Operating Officer; President, Pipelines; Executive Vice-President, Corporate Development; Chief Financial Officer; and Executive Vice-President, Power. Prior to joining TC Energy in 1994, Mr. Girling held several marketing and management positions at Suncor Inc., Northridge Petroleum Marketing and Dome Petroleum.

    Mr. Girling is currently a director of Nutrien Ltd., the American Petroleum Institute and the Business Council of Canada. He is a member of the Business Council of Alberta, the U.S. National Petroleum Council and the U.S. Business Roundtable. He is the former Chairman of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America, former Chairman of the Natural Gas Council and former director of the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association. He has also served as Chairman and CEO of TC PipeLines GP, Inc. (general partner of TC PipeLines, LP), Chairman of TransCanada Power, L.P. and director of Bruce Power Inc.

    Mr. Girling co-chaired the 2012 United Way of Calgary Campaign and is a director of the Willow Park Charity Golf Classic. He was a 1998/1999 recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 Award for leadership excellence for Canadians under the age of 40. In 2008, he was the recipient of the Haskayne School of Business Management Alumni Excellence (MAX) Award. Mr. Girling holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Calgary.

    François PoirierChief Operating Officer and President, Power & Storage

    Chief Operating Officer and President, Power & Storage, Mr. Poirier oversees all of TC Energy’s businesses and operations, as well as project execution. His previous roles included leading our Mexico business unit, as well as leading the company’s risk management, strategy and corporate development efforts. Mr. Poirier joined the company in 2014 as President, Energy East Pipeline.

    Before joining TC Energy, Mr. Poirier spent 25 years in investment banking, consulting and as a Corporate Director. He was President and Head, Investment Banking and Capital Markets, for Wells Fargo Securities Canada, Ltd. Prior to that, he was Group Head, Power and Pipelines Investment Banking, at J.P. Morgan Securities in New York.

    From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Poirier served as an Independent Director of Capital Power Income LP. His community involvement has included serving as Chair of the North York Harvest Food Bank.

    Mr. Poirier holds a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Operations Research from the University of Ottawa.

    Donald (Don) R. Marchand Executive Vice-President, Strategy & Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer

    Executive Vice-President, Strategy & Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Marchand is responsible for financial reporting, taxation, finance, treasury, risk management and investor relations for TC Energy Corporation.

    He was named Chief Financial Officer in July 2010 and, prior to his appointment as CFO, he was Vice-President, Finance and Treasurer overseeing the company’s finance, treasury, trading and financial risk and pension asset management functions.

    Since joining the company in 1994, Mr. Marchand has held a variety of progressively more senior roles with the organization and was appointed Vice-President, Finance and Treasurer in September 1999.

    Prior to coming to TC Energy, Mr. Marchand worked at Trizec Corporation Ltd. in a number of accounting and treasury roles as well as at Clarkson Gordon, a predecessor firm to Ernst & Young.

    Mr. Marchand is a member of the Calgary Society of Financial Analysts and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.

    Mr. Marchand holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honours from the University of Manitoba. He earned his Chartered Accountant designation in 1988 and became a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1994.

    Stanley (Stan) Graham Chapman, IIIExecutive Vice-President and President, U.S. and Mexico Natural Gas Pipelines, TC Energy Corporation, and Chairman, TC PipeLines GP, Inc.

    Stanley G. Chapman, III serves as Executive Vice-President and President of U.S. and Mexico Natural Gas Pipelines for TC Energy Corporation where he has led the U.S. natural gas business since April 2017 and the Mexico natural gas business since September 2020. In these roles he is responsible for all regulatory, commercial and operational matters across TC Energy’s regulated transmission and storage assets, as well as its unregulated midstream businesses. Mr. Chapman was also appointed Chairman of the General Partner for TC PipeLines GP, Inc., a master limited partnership, effective January 1, 2019. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice-President and General Manager of its FERC-regulated U.S. natural gas pipeline business.

    Before joining TC Energy in July 2016 as part of the Columbia Pipeline Group (CPG) acquisition, Mr. Chapman served as Columbia’s Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer. Previous to joining CPG in December 2011, Mr. Chapman held various positions of increasing responsibility with El Paso Corp and Tenneco Energy and was responsible for various marketing and commercial operations, as well as supply, regulatory, business development and optimization activities.

    Mr. Chapman is a current member and past executive committee member of the Society of Gas Lighters, a current member and past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America and a member of the International Association for Energy Economics. Mr. Chapman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M University as well as a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.

    Corey HessenSenior Vice-President, Power & Storage

    As Senior Vice-President, Power & Storage, Corey Hessen is accountable for all aspects of the company’s power generation and unregulated natural gas storage businesses including strategy, trading, commercial, business development, projects and operations.

    Before joining TC Energy in August 2020, Mr. Hessen was Senior Vice-President, Fuels, at Constellation an Exelon Company, where he directed Constellation’s natural gas and LNG businesses as part of America’s third-largest trading desk. Previously, Hessen was Vice-President and Managing Director, Generation Development for Exelon Generation where he led the successful origination and development of more than $3 billion of new power assets, representing approximately 3 gigawatts of new wind, solar, combined cycle gas, peaking gas, and storage power capacity. Prior to joining Exelon, Hessen worked for Xcel Energy, serving in multiple leadership positions in nuclear operations/engineering, fossil-fueled generation, information systems, strategy and innovation programs.

    Hessen served as a director for Longview Power, NetPower, & Annova LNG, and his civic leadership has included the boards of directors of the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, Young Women’s Leadership Charter School of Chicago, Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy in Baltimore, and president of the board of directors of The Rise School of Denver.

    Hessen holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Marquette University. Hessen has held professional engineering licenses in seven states.

    Tracy RobinsonExecutive Vice-President, President Canadian Natural Gas Pipelines and President Coastal GasLink

    As Executive Vice-President and President, Canadian Natural Gas Pipelines, Tracy Robinson has overall accountability for the growth, operation and profitability of TC Energy’s federally and provincially regulated natural gas pipeline assets in Canada. Ms. Robinson is also President of Coastal GasLink, with overall accountability for all aspects of the project including project execution, stakeholder relations and commercial management.

    Since joining TC Energy in 2014, Ms. Robinson has served as Vice-President, Transportation for the Liquid Pipelines business unit; Vice-President, Supply Chain; and Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Canadian Natural Gas Pipelines.

    Prior to joining TC Energy, Ms. Robinson spent 27 years at Canadian Pacific, including executive roles spanning Operations, Finance and Commercial.

    Ms. Robinson has held a number of industry and private board positions, currently serving as a member of the Business Council of British Columbia, a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Edward’s School of Business of the University of Saskatchewan and as a member of STARS air ambulance with involvement in their Safety & Risk Management Committee. She is also the chair of the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association’s Executive Board for 2020-2021 and represents TC Energy on the Board of the Canadian Gas Association.

    Ms. Robinson holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She received her Institute of Corporate Directors designation in 2015.

    Bevin Wirzba Executive Vice-President and President, Liquids Pipelines

    As Executive Vice-President and President, Liquids Pipelines, Bevin Wirzba is responsible for TC Energy’s Liquids transportation business.

    Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Wirzba was Senior Vice-President, Liquids Pipelines, accountable for the profitability and commercial management of TC Energy’s Liquids pipelines.

    Before joining TC Energy in 2019, Mr. Wirzba was a senior executive leading the commercial functions of an intermediate upstream producer. He previously held the role of Managing Director in energy advisory for a global investment bank and began his career with a major integrated energy corporation with multi-disciplinary roles across North America and internationally.

    Mr. Wirzba holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta, a Master in Business Administration from the Edinburgh Business School and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
